Your pass gets you access to both Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley (take the free shuttle bus between the two-runs every 20 minutes), but for fewer crowds and a more family-friendly resort, this gets my vote. Great terrain, well groomed and good lift line management....More

I love skiing at Alpine Meadows it is so fun. It has great rooms. When you go to Alpine Meadows you should bring some skis. I hope you choose Alpine Meadows on your next trip here.

I really like Alpine for skiing. Its not as crowded as some of the other resorts and when there are lines they move fast. The terraine is good and the employees very freindly.

Although we didn't have the best of weather with driving warm snow - the local term for rain we found Alpine to be more friendly than Squaw although that may well reflect the clientele.
