It was easy to find and an easy hike with kids. The short walk is paved and, although uphill, not steep. We made it up with five kids varying in age. All enjoyed the breathtaking views.

On of many scenic pull overs around Lake Tahoe, the post summer pre-winter construction on the roads, utilities was under way so traffic was held up This apparently is done late Spring and Late Fall each year.

My wife came across this place and wasn't real keen on doing the hike. However unlike with Emerald Bay, it's all down hill on the way back to your car. Awesome views and the deep blue sky and water made for some very special pictures....More

It's a steep walk up a hill, and the trail above offers amazing views and information. Well worth it.

This is a short hike (on a closed road) to see a great view, and well worth the time and energy. Easy to get to... and when you get to the top, make sure you walk around the trail.

We took our three year old up this trail with a stroller. A nice short hike (1/2 mile maybe). Fantastic panoramic views of Crystal Bay and Agate Bay. There were wind surfers above us. We will have to do it again.

Top of the Lake Tahoe lookout!! You're high above the stateline area and can see the immensity of Lake Tahoe and its beautiful colored waters from this high perch. The climb is not bad and mostly done by car going up the access road to...More

The trail wasn't too hard to find, based on others instructions, but most of it was too steep, and covered in pine needles (making us slide back down). I'm sure it's a great view at the top, we just had issues, even in good hiking...More
