We have been visiting gold country CA for many years. This theater is in a beautiful little town with lots of history. We have seen about 4 performances here, 2 were tribute bands and 2 were other musicians and......each time we have been blown away by the talent. Also, perhaps because of the way this building was constructed in the... More

The finally each year seems to be Sourdough Slim and his friends for what seems like forever. This year was no different. The place was pretty packed and Sourdough didn't not disappoint! Together with Faux Renoir, Cactus Bob, Prairie Flower, Robert Armstrong and all, they enthralled the crowd with both humor, their repertoire of their well-known and original songs and... More

I've been going here since March 2014 and I love it. Every weekend I find a new group to love and they're always my "favorite." lol They serve beer, wine, cookies from Andres in Amador City, and soda.

Saw a music group; very intimate setting and casual. Old time-y feel to the place. No reserved seats, but you don't really need them. It is small enough that all seats are good.

The theater is old and quaint. It was a perfect venue for Tempest, the group that plays Celtic music with a rock beat. The show was great!! We're going to see Tempest at other locations and will most likely be back for Lief's birthday bash next year.

Excellent band in an intimate theatre. Neil Young and Crazy Horse tribute band that rocked the house with great renditions of classics as well as lesser known material. Lead guitar phenomenal player. Excellent sound system, good accustics.

Byron and his family continue to bring quality entertainment and great music to downtown Sutter Creek. This theater is a gem and is a page from the past!

Sutter Creek Theater is an intimate and affordable venue, full of charm and situated in the cute town of Sutter Creek. After a dynamite pizza at Pizza Plus, and a little browsing in some neighboring shopis, we headed around the corner to the ambient theater to hear a wonderful folk concert by Anne and Pete Sibley. the small, 2-story theater...
