Our family enjoyed the tour around the plaza's nooks and crannies and learning about Sonoma's history. Also enjoyed the ice cream at the end of the tour. Renee was a good tour guide.

I simply can not say enough about the great experience we had on this tour. All of the restaurants and stops were amazing and the food incredibly delicious. Our favorite part was the tour guide Renee. She is a phenomenal host with a genuine love for what she does. Before the tour was over we were already planning another trip back, with a group of friends to tour another part of wine country, with Renee as our guide. This tour is a must!!

Vanesia, you are so kind to leave such a wonderful review. You and I spoke more than once and had lots of communication, but we have to give Arlene all of the credit for your actual tour. She is a superstar host! I am so happy to hear you enjoyed yourselves and are planning to do another tour with us on your next trip. We have 5 experiences now, so there are plenty to choose from. Wishing you a fabulous holiday season. Cheers, Renee

This was the highlight of our trip (other than the Gloria Ferrer Winery). Renee was a wonderful guide and took us to terrific places for food and wine pairings. It was great to walk around Sonoma Square and she was quick to share a lot of history about the area. We also visited the 1st Williams Sonoma store and another small museum. The food at each restaurant was amazing and the wine perfectly matched. Show up hungry and wear comfortable shoes! We did a lot of walking. We also visited a small chocolate shop and several purchases were made here. The restaurants where we went: The Girl & The Fig, El Dorado kitchen (and we went back there the following day for a full meal); Delhi Billy Indian Bistro (yum!) and the last place was a small tasting room that served the truffles from the chocolate shop. She does tours in a few other towns and I would absolutely go again. You will not be disappointed.

Hi Cynthia, Thank you so much for your wonderful review of our Sonoma experience. This was the tour that kicked off Gourmet Food & Wine Tours and is still so much fun for me to guide after almost 6 years. We love our partners and cherish the ability to share their delicious farm-to-table food with local winemaker's wine. I hope to see you next time in Yountville, St Helena, Napa or Sausalito! All the Best, Renee

The only mistake we made was scheduling this excursion at the end of our stay and I would recommend it as a nice way to begin a visit to the area. Our guide took us around the square at the center of the town where we visited some well known places, like The Girl and the Fig and others not so, like Delhi Belly but at all locations the food was good and the wine interesting. We especially like the wine served at Delhi Belly and was happy to find it at a local store and happier still to see the price was reasonable. We had an excellent guide who navigated us around the square and if I would make any suggestion it would be for the guide to place herself at the center of the group so that everyone could here. The historic information she provided added another layer of interest to the experience. Great fun and a great learning experience.

Thank you so much Trish for your valuable feedback and recommendation for our Sonoma experience through Gourmet Food and WineTours. Taking a food tour is definitely the most efficient way to see a town and I do try to do it at the start of my trips too! We will let Cline Cellars know your feedback. All the Best, Renee
