We are your friends in Napa | Sonoma. We love where we live and want you to love it too. Ceciliasson & Gustavsson provides a European style wine country experience hosted by a local host. Imagine having a friend that lives in Sonoma-Napa that you are planning to visit and is going to show you around to all their local favorites. Our founder was born and raised here. His family has been in the wine industry for three generations he wants our guests to have the same experience as our good friends and family when they visit us. Our focus is to support boutique, family-owned wineries that don't mass distribute so our guests have the best possible experience and we get to support our community. We're not a transportation service (which are really just taxi services with makeup).

Gustav & his crew were excellent! Our experience visiting beautiful boutique wineries was incredible! Gustav is knowledgeable without being pretentious & truly cares about you having a memorable time tasting amazing wines. I highly recommend and would love to go with Gustav each time I visit this area.

This is our third experience with Gustav and his company. We wouldn’t look to anyone else when heading to the Sonoma and Napa area for wine tasting. He won us over on our first trip there 10 years ago when we asked him to stop at Whole Foods after a day of tasting. He went in with us, described the wines we bought to the cheese expert, and together they picked out the perfect pairings for us to enjoy in our rental. Gustav creates an amazing experience including small family wineries which are better than some of the larger more popular ones. Each tasting is a one on one experience, many times with the owner or winemakers themselves. The pace is perfect, it’s like sitting down with friends, chatting, laughing and you just happen to be learning about and drinking amazing wines. When he says trust him on the winery selections, just do it. You won’t be disappointed. He makes sure to get to know you in advance so he can curate the right schedule and select the right wineries for you. We’ve used him three times and each time we meet new winemakers and find new favorite wines to drink.

We would HIGHLY recommend Ceciliasson & Gustavsson! Gustav is extremely professional, friendly, and is very knowledgeable about Napa and Sonoma vintners and wines. Gustav and I had a long conversation prior to our day with him. He wanted detailed information about what wines we liked, as well as experiences we had during previous trips to Napa and Sonoma. With this information, he planned a very personalized experience and the perfect day. It added a level of excitement to not know which wineries we’d be visiting. We loved the opportunity to visit small off-the-beaten path wineries that provided very personalized tastings. We tasted incredible quality wines, including exposure to excellent varieties we hadn’t had an opportunity to experience. Gustav is also a great photographer. He captured our day in perfect, beautiful, candid photos. Our experience with Gustav was definitely memorable, and we look forward to future visits with him.

Gustav is our new friend in Sonoma, driving and guiding our group of eight people to unique wineries we would have never experienced otherwise. Our day was exactly what we were hoping for — it was relaxed & fun, we enjoyed excellent wine that is not widely distributed and met interesting, passionate and entertaining wine makers in intimate and lovely settings. Gustav is down-to-earth and knowledgeable — he went the extra mile to tailor our day so that each of us felt catered to and taken care of. We also stopped for a delicious lunch along the way. Our experience with Gustav was a highlight and worth every penny. If you are lucky enough to be able to have this experience — take it!

We had an excellent tour with Gusrav. I would highly recommend. We learned the history of Sonoma and Napa and the types of grapes grown. He took us to three fabulous wineries that we would never have found on our own and the tastings were just for us. We learned about each of the wineries histories how they came to be and their approach and ethos. These were very friendly and personal wine tastings we were all able to ask questions and interact with the wine makers. It was awesome! I would sign up again in a heartbeat. And as an added bonus they drive you from place to place! Well worth the price all the info ahared the access to small production phenomenal wineries and just the openness and attitude of our guide he was super warm and welcoming!

What a terrific day we had with Gustav! We were a group of 6 adult family members looking to really enjoy wine together. Gustav is extremely knowledgeable of the wine industry including Sonoma and Napa, in particular. We went to three very out-of-the-way wineries and to a market with a wide variety of great food for lunch! Gustav was informative with the heart of a teacher. The wineries we visited were by appointment only and you could tell that Gustav knew the owners as his longtime friends. During our visits, we were the only people in the world while we were there. It made for a relaxed and comfortable experience, all the way around. We had great wine and a great experience, a lot fun, and we made new friends in California!! I highly recommend this wine hosting experience. Thank you Gustav!!

There were 3 happy couples sharing in Gustav’s winery choices on our recent trip to Sonoma/Napa wine country.
All 3 vineyards presented excellent wine offerings from family-run boutique wineries. Each owner’s love of the art of wine making was evident in their settings, presentation and excellent tastings!

I was hesitant to hire a company to handle all the wine tastings for my friends and I during our trip to Napa, but after experiencing the wonderful hospitality and tasting the incredible wines at vineyards we would have never found, I am glad I hired Gustav and his company.
Gustav really tailored our day selecting smaller, family run vineyards with private settings where our group was the only one tasting. The hosts were all extremely knowledge explaining their history and wines, and answering any questions we had.
Jack our driver was also very prompt with pick up at our hotel and extremely friendly, and had a great car playlist.
I highly recommend Gustav and will hire him again the next time I visit.

Fantastic adventure visiting boutique wineries off the beaten path, and not open to the public. This was our second trip to Sonoma with Gustav hosting a tour and he is always an extremely friendly and professional host. You will not regret spending a day with him.

We had the best time with Gustav! He created a fun day, driving us to vineyards off the beaten path and shared tons of information with us. There were 6 of us, and he picked us up from our Airbnb house, and dropped us off at the end of the day. He also took us to a great place for lunch. Highly recommend!

there are shuttle buses, taxis, and town cars from the airport but we rented a car.
it depends on how many places you'd like to see, plan on 5-6 wineries per day.
