Ram's Gate Winery embodies the convergence of great wine, design and hospitality. Situated at the historic gateway to the Carneros region, Ram's Gate was created with the belief that in a world obsessed with making things faster, where speed is valued above all else, a delicious wine is the way to press pause - to savor and enjoy what we love most. Amidst sweeping views of the surrounding vineyards, we offer a portfolio of estate and single vineyard wines made from the grapes of the region's marquee vineyards. Would not recommend this when you are in the area. So many other wineries that are so much more professional and welcoming. Terrible tour, rushed and the person did not know a lot about the wines. When we visited it was our 4th day in...More

You won't regret visiting this winery in Sonoma even if you don't drink wine. The location, the architecture of the winery itself, the grounds with beautiful landscaping, the views surrounding the winery and the food that you can order without tasting their wines are worth...More

Not more than 30 seconds into our visit at Ram's Gate, I knew we were in trouble. No matter what other wineries we were visiting that day, this could not be topped (and it wasn't). Our first impression was that this place is BEAUTIFUL. Seriously,...More

We had a wonderful experience at Ram's Gate. We did a food pairing with our tasting, and while it was pricey, it was worth it. The setting is gorgeous and the wine (especially the reds) was outstanding. The food was also exceptional - some of...More

I'm having a difficult time trying to summarize my visit to Rans Gate, and can only come up with: Playground for the Rich. This is a newer winery built by extremely wealthy people so they would have a place to wine & dine their rich...More

We absolutely loved Ram's Gate for the unbeatable views and amazing reds. Not to mention, the food was some of our favorite that we ate while visiting Napa Valley. Everything was picture-perfect and we loved taking time to walk around and see the vineyards, the...More

This is a newer winery in Sonoma that produces not so great wines with the attitude of a premium Napa Valley winery. It is true that Sonoma county now has more and often better wineries than Napa, but unfortunately this is not one of them....More

Very pretty winery. However, $28 for a tasting, and $40 average price per bottle. Wine was good, and a very beautiful tasting room.

Have we gotten to the point in life where you can't visit a winery without a reservation? $60 for a tasting? I'll never visit again. Wine was just average at best. boring, boring, boring.
