Ram's Gate Winery embodies the convergence of great wine, design and hospitality. Situated at the historic gateway to the Carneros region, Ram's Gate was created with the belief that in a world obsessed with making things faster, where speed is valued above all else, a delicious wine is the way to press pause - to savor and enjoy what we love most.

Amidst sweeping views of the surrounding vineyards, we offer a portfolio of estate and single vineyard wines made from the grapes of the region's marquee vineyards.

Open Thursdays-Mondays, 10am-6pm by Appointment

Not more than 30 seconds into our visit at Ram's Gate, I knew we were in trouble. No matter what other wineries we were visiting that day, this could not be topped (and it wasn't). Our first impression was that this place is BEAUTIFUL. Seriously, not just the view, but the architecture of the building and the aesthetics were gorgeous.... More

We had a wonderful experience at Ram's Gate. We did a food pairing with our tasting, and while it was pricey, it was worth it. The setting is gorgeous and the wine (especially the reds) was outstanding. The food was also exceptional - some of the best we had in Napa/Sonoma. Our server took us on a tour afterwards, which... I'm having a difficult time trying to summarize my visit to Rans Gate, and can only come up with: Playground for the Rich. This is a newer winery built by extremely wealthy people so they would have a place to wine & dine their rich Ferrari owning friends during race week at the Sonoma Raceway (across the road from the... We absolutely loved Ram's Gate for the unbeatable views and amazing reds. Not to mention, the food was some of our favorite that we ate while visiting Napa Valley. Everything was picture-perfect and we loved taking time to walk around and see the vineyards, the garden and the breathtaking views from the top of the hill. Great job!

This is a newer winery in Sonoma that produces not so great wines with the attitude of a premium Napa Valley winery. It is true that Sonoma county now has more and often better wineries than Napa, but unfortunately this is not one of them. While the tasting room itself is quite lovely, the food and wine selections are not... More

Very pretty winery. However, $28 for a tasting, and $40 average price per bottle. Wine was good, and a very beautiful tasting room.

Have we gotten to the point in life where you can't visit a winery without a reservation? $60 for a tasting? I'll never visit again. Wine was just average at best. boring, boring, boring.

As members of the winery, we get six wine selections sent to us quarterly. They are usually selected for the club by the winery staff, but our visit yesterday allowed us to make selections for some of the wine. It was very enjoyable to sit out on one of the many verandas, enjoying the cool breeze from San Francisco Bay,... More

My husband and I made reservations for a wine pairing experience. The food is small tapas type bites, but amazing food and flavors. We had a private tour with our own guide and had a private room for tasting. The buildings and property is stunning. The wine is the main event. After drinking their wine, every other vineyard pales in... More
