I loved Sonoma. However, after a week of shopping with my wife and 3 daughters and all that entails I needed a half hour to myself. The last place I expected to find it was on Sonoma Plaza. Steiner's Tavern is everything you want in a barroom. Dark lighting, attentive bar service, good drinks, fair price and instant understanding of... More

We stopped in on a Sunday night for dinner. That's right dinner. Rumor has been going around town about their crab and shrimp Louie's. Salad took FOREVER to come to the table, but to be fair we were warned when we ordered that it would be a wait. Salad was very good and very generous with shrimp.

Recommended by our restaurant server when restaurant closed down, only place open past 11pm. Crowded bar with small dance floor. Lots of loud club music, & lots of people- just what we were looking for late night partying!

This was the only place we found in Sonoma town open past 11pm or 12. The night we went, they had a good blues/rock band and we had a good time. It is a comfortable bar with a small dance area.
