This was our last winery of the day, and we liked how unique and different it was. Because it has so much history, there is a great museum attached to the house. There are also picnic tables all over the property, so you can bring a picnic lunch and buy a bottle onsite. The tasting bar was packed when we... More

This second stop on our bike wine tour was enjoyable and interesting. The ride up the hill was challenging for some in our group, but well worth the trek. The history of the building was quite fascinating, and the wine was quite tasty.

Our original intention was to hike in "Bart Park" which we did. We enjoyed the roughly 3 mile hike which included everything from redwood forest at the base, to red/maroon small trees/bushes at higher elevation. We heard that you can see the top of the Golden Gate bridge from the top, but our day was cloudy with limited visibility. Toward... More

Bartholomew Park Winery is on a historic, organically-farmed estate and specializes in white wines. White wine isn't my thing, however, I do recommend stopping by if you are because the staff's wonderful. There's some items for purchase besides wine and I found it to be cheaper than downtown Napa. Make sure you pack a picnic and enjoy some food as... More

My fiancé and I hiked the trails behind the Bartholomew Winery, had a nice (pre-packed) picnic on the beautiful grounds and then topped off our visit with a tasting. The staff were very kind, conversational and enjoyed educating us on each wine poured. Overall, it was a great way to spend half of a day in Sonoma!

We hiked the 2 mile loop. As advertised, it was challenging due to elevation changes, but worth the effort. The views were fantastic and most of the trail was shaded. After, we visited the winery. Yelp has a 2 for 1 tasting coupon. The wine does not stand out, but is good. Worth visiting!

Happenstance brought us to the winery. We tasted and liked. We made an order and found the choices we made very much to our liking. I'll return on the next trip to visit in Sonoma. The staff were very helpful in fulfilling our order and provided us with information regarding a large reception we'd become involved in.

Wine pourings SO SMALL 😒😒 Host not knowledgeable about wine. Sad because I believe if you had the right host this has potential to be a very nice winery 😔

We chose to make this our first stop after arriving in California. After battling obnoxious traffic from San Francisco, this place totally scratched our itch to get out of the car, soak up some sunshine, enjoy a picnic (with supplies purchased from a grocery store near the airport, not on site), and drink some wine! I can't convey here how... More
