Today we took our second tour with Sam following a really enjoyable tour in 2017. Right from the start of the tour, Sam's enthusiasm for the area, the area's history and for the wineries is infectious. On a tour with Sam you learn a lot more than just wine and wineries. He knows the little boutique wineries, and the winemakers there, which are far more interesting and enjoyable to visit. When we next visit this area, Honey Wine tours will be our automatic choice - once again. Highly recommended.

Our group of 4 spent the day touring with Sam Honey and I can say he is the BEST tour guide ever! I spoke with him on the phone several times before our tour and based on what we talked about he planned out the best day ever. He picked us up at our door promptly at 9:45 (tour actually started at 10) and he had a cooler for our lunch and a cooler of water. He immediately started telling us about the history of Sonoma and took us around the square - this was much more than just a wine tour - it was a complete history tour! Once we arrived at destinations, he knew exactly where to go and who to see, he knows everyone by first name and they know and respect him. He could take you "behind the scenes" at places as though he worked there himself. We tasted some of the best wine ever, saw some amazing views and sights and met some of the nicest people you could ever imagine and even got to have our picture made with "Norman" - you just have to ask Sam to find out about it. The last place he took us was a memory that will last a life time. I give Sam 5 plus stars, I promise you will not be disappointed if you book a tour with him, he is the best!

We had a great time with Sam. He really went above & beyond our expectations. We felt like we got a real "behind the scenes tour". Later in the week on other tours we lamented that we should have booked Sam every day! An added bonus was running into Sam & his sweet dog at a local eatery.

Sam Honey is super fantastic. He is very knowledgable of the area and knows so many of the people at the wineries personally. We had a group of 8 loud crazy girls and he made our day spectacular. He definitely loves what he does and does his job with a passion like no other. I encourage you to book Honey Tours, you will not be sorry because it will be your best day ever.
