Gloria Ferrer, the first sparkling winery in Carneros, features award winning sparkling wines from our estate in Sonoma and inspirational views from our Vista Terrace. Enjoy the Sonoma lifestyle at it's best over seasonal bites and an selection of exclusive bubbles sure to fit the most discriminating palette. Experience the best of wine country through a variety of tours and tastings such as Tapas on the Terrace or our Wine Country Picnic. Learn the complex and fascinating way in which Gloria Ferrer approaches wine making in the traditional methode with a modern Spanish flair. Gloria Ferrer Caves and Vineyards is a must visit stop on your exploration of Sonoma. We are open by appointment on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We are happy to welcome walk-ins Monday to Thursday.

Jessie is the best and took his time telling us all about the sparkling wines and the vineyard, as well as all the fun things to do in the area. The vineyard is stunning, the views are spectacular, the sparklings are perfection, the tapas outrageously delicious, and everyone who works here is so kind and welcoming. Not worth it. I’ve been a club member for 5 years now and since the new ownership the club experience has gone down hill. Prices keep going up and they don’t even seem to care that you’re a member when you visit or call to make a reservation. For what you get,it’s just not worth it. They are clearly more focused on making a much money as possible vs. delivering a memorable, accessible experience.

DO NOT GO WITH A GROUP. It took me two weeks to book a reservation at this winery. Sharon from reservations only does groups under 6. Joyce with events only does groups over 10. I had 9 guests. They forwarded my information back and forth several times before it ultimately got escalated to Melanie, Sales Director who booked the reservation for me after I had to place several calls.
I was quoted at $75 per person (4 wines + cheese plate) since I was a “group”. This pricing usually kicks in when you have 10+ people, but apparently in order for me to get a reservation for 9 I had to consent to this. FYI The same price for this experience online is $55 (with tax included). I was charged $97 per person and was not provided a receipt.
One person in my group didn’t drink so I need a refund. The day of the tasting they couldn’t provide me a receipt or process the refund. I’ve since called and emailed several times and no one is getting back to me.
The views are nice, but the customer service is a nightmare and I regret giving this company my business.

The winery has changed it's wine tasting experience by requiring you to purchase overpriced food and requiring you to give a 20% gratuity. And this includes members of their club. Compared to pre virus, they have degraded their product and it is not worth it anymore. We canceled our membership.

This winery was a pleasant surprise for us. The views and winery were beautiful but the bonus was how much we really enjoyed the sparking wines. This is coming from a couple that is predominantly a red fan. The sparking wines were better than any French champagne we have ever tried. Cheers!

We had high hopes for this place and were looking forward to our tasting experience. Unfortunately that was not our experience in this place. We booked an hour long classic experience for $60/person. We arrived on time and checked in, but kept waiting to be seated for 20-25 min. If we had not asked, we would have been completely ignore. After that we had to rush through the tasting as our time was cut short and we had another commitment to attend to. I wish I could have left a better review but we both felt rushed and had a horrible experience. Customer service is 1 star. We should have saved our $ and bought the sparkling wines online.

We had a couple of people recommend Gloria Ferrer to us, so we decided to visit on New Years Eve so we could pick up some bubbly for our evening. Lovely property, great views and service. We sat outside, upgraded from the standard tasting and we had preordered a charcuterie plate. Everything was excellent! Kenny G was our server and he made the experience very fun, informative and special!

Our Host Kenny G was a real star. We sampled some exquisite bubbles and we were all blown away. Even the Demi Dec I tried was fabulous and I would have not tried it but for Kenny’s persuasion. A total expert in the combinations and tastings. He really is the best. So gracious.🥂🥂👏🏾👏🏾❤️

This winery focuses on sparkling wines, which I loved. Their white Pinot noir was excellent, as was their cheese selection (manchengo, yes please). They have wine caves you can check out too. Finally, the view from the terrace is beautiful. Staff was professional and attentive.

We’ve driven past this this for 10 years, and now we’re kicking ourselves for not having ever stopped *facepalm*…the outside area is fantastic; even with a bit of rain, it was a spectacular view, and the wines are legitimately delightful. A truly interesting sparkling flight, and Amy poured some fascinating selections. She is a treasure (and so is the gentleman working on the terrace, I feel terrible that I don’t remember his name), and we’re so grateful that she shared a little time and knowledge with us. We’ll be bringing our out of town visitors here from now on. Thank you!

We are coming from Sacramento area in mid-October. We love Gloria Ferrar and would very much like to visit your winery. Do we need reservations for tasting? I understand that we do for a guided tour.

There is always seating available but most people don’t want to sit inside or want to wait for a better seat.
There is two searing areas and unless you come at a peak time.. 2-4 on a Saturday you won’t have to wait. If you just want to try the wines there will most likely be seating inside near the bar. Good luck

Yes, the tasting room patio area is kid/family friendly, as long as kids are not running around due to the nature surrounding of many wine glasses everywhere.
