Buttonwood winery

Nice little winery & farm outside of Solvang at 1500 Alamo Pintado Rd, Solvang, CA 93463. Their Pinot and Merlot are quite good. Hopefully they will have some of their wine... read more

We attended a special wine tasting with Karen, the Winemaker on Saturday afternoon for members of their Imbibers Club, to launch the new season. Buttonwood Winery is a family owned and operated winery and farm with fresh seasonal fruit. They have several events throughout the year from Blues music and farm dinners to a New Orleans Crawfish Boil, among others.... More

When you see the "Peach" sign by the entrance make sure you go in and get some! They have different varieties throughout the summer and they are amazing. We go for the peaches - not the wine!

Nice little winery & farm outside of Solvang at 1500 Alamo Pintado Rd, Solvang, CA 93463. Their Pinot and Merlot are quite good. Hopefully they will have some of their wine grapes out for you to taste. The Pinot Gris grapes and Cab Franc grapes are good right off the vine. They have goats you can pet at the farm

We have been visiting here for almost 20 years. They have updated the winery but the wines are not worth the price anymore. I'll stick with Kalyra, Blackjack and Rideau.

We ended up joining their wine club because of the experiences we had there. The wines were very good and the place is beautiful. They host a lot of special events for their wine members so you feel like you are more than just receiving the occasional shipment.

They make fantastic wines, and have a nice tasting room. A great atmosphere there as well. The other great thing are the people working there.

Great location with a beautiful shaded area to enjoy a picnic, Thought the wine tasting was somewhat average with a staff that was not particularly friendly. With so many choices of wineries in the area, there could be better choice if your time is limited.

This was a great little find. Came here for a picnic lunch and wine tasting with family and 4 young children ages 2.5-9. Everyone enjoyed it! There is a great outdoor patio space, shaded picnic tables, gardens, walking paths, farm animals, and a neighboring peach/fruit stand. Great photo opportunities, too. Tasting room staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Only a... More

We tasted the wine but really went to the Farm to buy peaches to take home. I nearly left with none as the service was really unpleasant. Perhaps the farmer was helping and he should have stayed in the orchard. He was almost rude and his young female assistant was not much better. We had gone out of our way... More
