I started planning my groups "girl's trip" to Solvang nearly one year ahead of time. After doing in-depth research, Solvang Taxi and Wine tours ended up being our tour company of choice. Nikki was responsive, informative and helpful in our quest for the perfect girl's weekend. Not only did they provide transport to and from the Santa Barbara airport, but we also used them for our private wine tours one day, and they even accommodated our wish to spend one day in Santa Barbara enjoying the whart/pier area. Everyone was very professional and helpful and all our tours went off without a hitch. I highly recommend Solvang Taxi and Wine Tours and will definitely use them again when we revisit the area!

Dealing with Nikki was an absolute delight. She immediately responded to our request, was very accommodating and tailor made the wineries visit to our requirements. Marion was our designated driver and guide for that day, Marion simply was amazing and took very good care of us, I would highly recommend asking for her when booking with Solvang Wine Tours. Overall, a First Class experience

We arranged for a private, customized tour of wineries in the Santa Ynez valley with Solvang Taxi and Wine Tours and got exactly this! Primarily via email, we were able to discuss options, pricing, itinerary, etc. with Nikki (the company president who also led us on our tour.) While on the tour, it was obvious that all of the winery staffs knew Nikki and made it a point to take very good care of us. If you are looking to do a tour of the wineries in the Santa Ynez valley with a local who knows the region, I would highly recommend Solvang Taxi and Wine Tours.

Our driver, Becky, was punctual and friendly. We felt very comfortable with her and she was extremely helpful. We ordered lunch from the company and it was delicious. Becky asked us what time we wanted to eat and she took our meals to us while we were wine tasting. The van she was driving was a Honda and it was very roomy and comfortable. Very nice looking vehicle and it was in excellent condition and very clean. I will definitely be a return customer.

I arranged the wine tour only two days in advance, and was concerned that wasn't sufficient time. Wasn't an issue. Nikki gave me two options - I choose the spots and they drive, or for a higher price, she would take care of everything, including food and snacks. Given the lack of lead time I chose the latter option; she asked me a few questions about what kind of wine I liked and took over from there. The result was a fantastic tour featuring great wineries and wine, perfect amount of time at each one, totally seamless. Heartily recommend!

Drivers were great, very friendly and helped us decide some good wineries from our taste in wine. We also had a driver from this company pick us up, drive us to a restaurant and pick us up. Highly recommend Nicki and her company.

Being a solo traveler, it isn’t always easy finding tours that will cater to a single person and do a good job at ensuring the experience isn’t awkward. This tour did not disappoint- I highly recommend for a single person or a group. You get to select which vineyards you want to visit and you are a VIP at each one. Everyone was incredibly welcoming. Plus, Nikki (the owner) is friendly and went the extra mile to make sure I had a great experience. If you are looking for a wine tour in Solvang, this is the best company.

I recently did a wine tour with Nikki through Solvang Taxi and Wine Tours. I was hesitant at first given the safety concerns over Covid -- but Nikki made sure it was a safe and fun experience. She helped tailor the trip to our needs. She recommended wineries based on what we liked, gave us several options to choose from, and managed all the bookings for us. All the wineries knew her so the wineries made sure to give us special treatment. Highly recommend!

Wine tasting is so much better when Nikki is driving you around! I have been wine tasting several times now in this area and it is always a good experience, but this was my first time using this company. I had two girlfriends in town from out of state: one who loves wine, one who could care less but likes a good time, and myself, who is in it for the scenery, decor, and atmosphere. In choosing a driving service, I was concerned about the personality of the driver and our destinations.
First, Nikki was wonderful. She had a professional and refined nature, but she was also personable and relatable. She seemed like a cheshire cat with a good sense of people. By this I mean she can sense what you are looking for and she can meet any of those expectations: she could be a wine expert guiding and commenting between wineries, or she could be a wallflower who appears only at the perfect times. With our group, she was friendly and fun without ever overshadowing the special time my girlfriends and I were having together. She can fit whatever you are looking for.
About our destinations...I intentionally opted to pick our wineries with some of her input, because I didn't want to be on a cookie-cutter trip. She was the perfect help! She had very friendly relationships with the wineries I chose and it was apparent that Nikki has a great working network throughout the area. The winery I asked her to pick was the best one of the day.
We felt so comfortable and safe throughout the day. If you want a great experience where you don't worry about a thing, just put yourself in the hands of this company and you will be all set!

Nikki, was amazing to work with as she provided transportation for a wedding function to/from the hotel to the venue for the evening. The service was right on schedule and the driver was professional and polite. You can confidently book with Nikki knowing that your guests will be safely taken care of through the entire event. I have already referred Solvang Tours for another event as my experience was so positive in all respects. A testament to true customer care!
