Best wine on the urban wine tour, took the bus tour this year. Best California wine around. Bold, robust, spicy, rich tannins, fruity, flavourful wines are produced by them. Just as good or better than Napa or Sonoma wines..........

Good stop in Solana Beach. Their Sauvignon Blanc was a real standout - make sure and try it! Nice staff. Their Reds were not bad either.

They make very good wines and they sourced the grapes from all over California. Charming winery, worth the visit.

My wife and son really enjoyed this place. Right in the heart of the Solana downtown area, a neat little street with clothes and furnishing stores. The wines are excellent, they use grapes from all over California, selecting appropriate varietals to the regions. The staff were incredibly friendly, although initially the one server was overloaded until a second showed up.... More

Love Carruth! Always friendly and attentive staff. A good spot for a drink with your other half or some friends. You can bring your dog and drink wine. Need I say more!

I LOVE this place. My fiance and I stopped here on the Winery Train Tour with San Diego Beer and Wine Tours, and it was awesome. I love the location (just a short walk from the Solana Beach train station and across from the Belly Up). The whole crew there was really fun, and they have cool events like movie... More

How often can you play at a winery! We have crushed grapes, helped bottle, and done almost anything you can do and be part of the wine making process. My wife and I are members, so we go a lot for our free tastings and their special events. Of course we have missed every movie night, but we will get... More

Loved the staff as they were very friendly and informative about the wine and things to do around the town. A little pricey as $10 per person for tasting which reminds me more of Napa, but they do give you a lot of tastings. Price of bottle to buy were also rather high, but we still had a great time... My wife and I are members and we love this place. The wine is great and so is the staff. They are friendly and very helpful. Make sure to become a member and you get tasting for free. We try to get to Carruth once a week.
