A 40-foot sculpture of little red wagons and a wall crafted from the soil of four distinct vineyards set the tone for the MacPhail Tasting Lounge, where limited release, vineyard designate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are presented in a truly unique environment where everything is recycled, reclaimed or repurposed. Each MacPhail wine is crafted by nature, and nurtured by hand to allow the full expression of the vineyard to grace your glass. A variety of tasting flights featuring wines from the Sonoma Coast, Russian River Valley and Anderson Valley are available in seated tastings or by the glass or bottle, to be enjoyed, perhaps, with selections from a featured local artisan cheesemonger. Relax on the patio and join in the conversation about what makes MacPhail, the Barlow and Sonoma County so very unique. And the wagon sculpture? There's a story waiting to be told.

A great tasting room and amazing staff. Despite the torrential rain and leaks they stayed open just for us. The wines are always fantastic, some of our favorite Pinot Noirs!! We recommend a visit not just to MacPhail but the Barlow space in general!More

Took my cousin from British Columbia to test wines here in the Barlow. We enjoyed a leisurely late afternoon tasting under the guidance of Colin who shared his knowledge about the wines and the winery. Absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend a visit to Mc Phail.

My husband has been searching for his perfect Chardonnay while we are in wine country. Brad and Susan educated us to what makes a wine buttery and oaky. Besides tasting their wines; they made other recommendations for us to visit.

What a fun place -- well done and good wines. We had a wonderful server who was passionate about the wines and it was a very pleasant place to visit while in the Barlow area.

My wife and I visited the tasting room and tried 6 different pinot Noirs from 4 different terriors, and from a couple of different vintages. We got a chance to taste the difference, side by side, between different vineyards which was a cool experience. This...More

Indeed the focus is on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. We took the mostly Pinot Noir tasting and we were definitely not disdained. First the atmosphere is very pleasant, sufficient space, comfortable seating, and experienced host. Lauren took all the time, explained the wines very well,...More

I will be honest, I am not a big Chardonnay and Pinot Noir guy, but these wines are outstanding. Jim is incredible - knowledgable Ned helpful. The Anderson Creek Pinot from Anderson Valley was terrific. This place is fun and worth the drive.

We stopped in as we were intrigued by the Radio Flyer art piece and stayed because the staff was so welcoming and knowledgeable. Their pinot noir is wonderful!
