We were recommended George by the hotel he was amazing and made our holiday with the tour. He took us on a tour of the Big Sur Carmel and the 17 mile drive - he was reliable and on time - charming and funny with super stories of his life in the area - he knew all the places to go and see and truly made our holiday - honestly I never writes reviews until I get back to the UK but has to as he was simply superb - thanks George

Our hotel set us up on a tour of Big Sur with George. He was amazing and my friend and I enjoyed hearing about all his experiences and his knowledge. We didn't have but 3 hours and he took us to the "hot" spots and it was truly a wonderful experience. After our tour we recommended him to a someone else and they also used him and was also very happy with the experience. Thank you George from Laura and Toy - Alabama!!!!!

George was recommended to me by the hotel Ventana Big Sur and we were absolutely thrilled with his service. I booked George to drive my boss from Monterey airport to a work conference and she had so many positive things to say about him. We wish he was in New York. We would recommend him for professional and personal needs. Amazing!

George took us on an all day tour of Monterey, Carmel, and Big Sur. We drank wine, ate delicious food, and enjoyed breath taking scenery.
George knew all the best places to go and had many fun stories to go along with each location. I will definitely be calling him again next time I'm in the area!

Sure Uber can be great to just get around but we needed some special attention for an afternoon, getting to know the Monterey Bay area and surrounding neighborhoods. We were referred to George Ushakoff as our private chauffeur. Since George is a lifelong resident, not only did we get the first class tour, but George gave us invaluable insight into Monterey’s rich history; the local sights, special restaurants and locations. We had a wonderful time and mostly because it was so fun to get to know George. Highly recommend!

I have used George twice whilst on business in Monterey from Australia. He is a local and knows this region intimately. His Cadillac is not the newest but in good condition and he is a very hard worker. I also used him for a one day tour ( Pebble Beach, Carmel, Big Sur and his knowledge was amazing.
George is very courteous , efficient and knows all the local identities ( Clint Eastwood Etc)
If you don't want to drive yourself George is a good choice

I was afraid to drive on the Pacific Coast highway but definitely wanted to see Big Sur. I tried several different tour guides but they were either booked or too far away. One of the tour sites put me in touch with George. I should mention that I was calling the same day I wanted to do the tour. George was ready willing and able. It was door to door service so he came right to our hotel, dressed in a suit, to meet us. The vehicle was clean but more importantly George's knowledge of the area and what he showed us would probably not be covered by other tour guides. We got out several times for photos and stopped for lunch. We were so pleased that we were both able to enjoy the scenery of the Pacific coast and George made that possible.
