This pier is very unique. It is a totally wooden pier, so you have to be careful because it is uneven and can cause a tripping hazard in places. But the views of Long Beach, the harbor, and Catalina are just amazing.

My favorite walking pier. Not as crowded as the other orange county piers. Love to watch the surfers and others play in the water. Also a great pier to walk off your meal and watch the sunset. The park at the start of the pier...More

The Pier at Seal Beach has long been one of my favorites. For years when I lived just north of Long Beach whenever I needed a healthy break from work I would drive to Seal Beach and walk out onto the pier. The waves rolling...More

Always fun to go out on the pier. We really miss having Ruby's restaurant out at the end of the pier. There was a fire which caused a lot of damage a few years ago. The city has been slow to fix it.

Love the atmosphere shopping and dining on the pier! Such a fun place. The weather was wonderful and sitting on the benches out on the pier is so relaxing.

This is just about the right size to walk on. Lots of fisherman and very well kept. Bathrooms clean but certainly not a 5-star hotel quality! Beautiful sunsets. A few benchs

We happened to be on the pier when someone was coming in from their shift on the oil rig. He shared they have seven day shifts, then off for seven days.

A wide long pier stretching far out into the ocean - great at sunset for harbour views - Offers visitors a great place for a seaside stroll + fishing opportunities (didn't see anyone with fish...)

Stopped by for only a few moments.. unfortunately the sun had set and we weren't able to get photos. It is a nice Long Pier and a good one to walk across

We walked it once. The restaurant that was at the end of the pier burned down a while ago so its chained/fenced off at the end. Nothing much to say about it. Nice for a stroll, or for fishing. There was a guy at the...More

I would say between 1/3 and 1/2 half mile. It is a lovely walk but the old Ruby's at the end of the pier was destroyed by fire. Because of current construction the "pleasant walk" is a little less right now.
