Paul gives a delightful tour around Sausalito, San Francisco, Angel Island, Alcatraz and Tiburon! His schooner, Freda B, is gorgeous and comfortable for all ages. Highly recommended!

A couple family members (local Marin folk) and I thought it would be fun to go on one of the sunset cruises, and we were not disappointed! The boat is beautiful, super spacious and not at all what you might expect from a “sunset cruise.” Think less cookie-cutter dinner cruise, more wooden interior and fun, professional crew. As someone else mentioned, they aren’t kidding when they tell you to bring a jacket, no matter how warm it was on land that day! We were prepared, and they had blankets for those who had forgotten layers, so no problem. All in all, *very* unqiue experience, and one I would not hesitate to book again, even as someone who lives in the Bay Area. It is so beautiful to see the sunset from the water instead of the land, really a completely different thing. You have to see it to believe it.

Thank you again for a wonderful time, with a beautiful view, and a gracious crew in the past! Must admit I am a repeat traveler as it as always been most enjoyable! See you again in September! Would suggest to those planning to go aboard to pay attention to dressing appropriately for the SF Bay, that means layers :). It is a boat so listen to and pay attention to the crew for your own safety. All of this has helped our group have a wonderful time!

When we questioned them about an additional fee they were going to charge after we had already booked a confirmed rate the manager instead of apologizing or even waiving the fee out of courtesy she canceled our chartered boat for my daughter’s sweet sixteen ! Will not trust this company as long as this woman is managing it ! After contacting other companies and as a matter of fact booking a much better charter turns out this manager has indeed a terrible reputation in this industry . Book with them at your own risk !

Thank your Parisa for your feedback. I am sorry this charter did not work out for you and your daughters sweet sixteen birthday party. As mentioned on the phone: for your safety and ours, we do require that all underage minors who book charters on our boats be accompanied on charter by a parent or legal guardian. Our phone and email records show that you had originally signed a contract for 6 guests. You then called us back once we charged the card for 6 guests to let us know that you actually had a total of 8 guests (once you included the chaperones). That was fine, and at that time our sales team let you know that there was a $100 increase in price due to the additional guests coming on board. The pricing for any activity will usually increase when your group size increases. Unfortunately, that was not what you wanted to hear from us, so instead of arguing with you, we offered you a full, immediate refund. We felt that the best way to remedy your dissatisfaction was to let you go ahead and shop elsewhere. We very much value our many new and repeat customers and do everything we can to make them happy. In your case, we realized that climb was just too steep. We do hope that you have found a safe and wonderful alternative for your daughter's birthday party. Our policy about underage, unaccompanied guests, and our pricing will continue to stand as it always has for over 25 years on the San Francisco Bay. Fair Winds- The Management

We thoroughly enjoyed our sail on the Freda B out on San Francisco Bay. The crew was very friendly, the boat is beautiful and well-kept, and they offer a nice selection of drinks that are reasonably priced. We were lucky with the weather, but they do offer blankets and there is a galley you could sit in if the weather is too cold. We sailed out under the Golden gate Bridge at sunset which was spectacular. I would highly recommend.
