I'd been meaning to take the Sausalito Wooden Boat Tour for several years and finally got around to it. So glad I did! I took my wife and her son and we all enjoyed it immensely. Victoria is a lively and informative guide to the fascinating history of a town I thought I knew pretty well, but found out there was so much more to know. A lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Highly recommended!…

We just drove around and looked at the interesting boats. Did not pay for a tour. I am sure there is some interesting history surrounding each house boat, but they are just cool to view on your own as well.

You will be transported back 50 years in this historical working boatyard. Great library, boat building tools, machines and artifacts. Freda, the oldest sailing pleasure vessel on SF Bay is at the dock.

Victoria has a wealth of knowledge of the history and culture of the Boats and the area. She also is very entertaining! This is a great afternoon for visitors as well as locals. A must do! The proper tea at the end finishes a lovely and informative day.

We didn't have a chance to visit any boathouse since they didn't open for tourists on that day. It lasted for about 2 hours, and the guide drove us back to the parking lot which was very nice. However, we think the price is quite high for this short tour.…

Hi Linda, Sorry you were disappointed. A first. I'll remind Stuart to speak up! As stated on my website, I don't promise going into any of the boats, but your chances are better if pick a Sunday to do the tour. That's when the realtors have their open houses. I'm not sure why the tour was only 2 hours long unless you opted to skip something along the way, tea and cookies or the Tall Ship. Not really possible to do all of that within 2 hours. Victoria
