Friendly Place with plenty of sweet wine

The server was extremely friendly and helpful. Most of their wines are on the sweet side. They have a lot of dessert wines.

Worst wine tasting experience ever. They have a $12 tasting fee and offered 2 for 1, but with only the 2 of us, as today's driver I don't do any sampling. DW only drinks white wines, but they only had 3 white wines. One of the wines was reasonable so she bought a bottle. However, they do not remove the... More

Been coming since we saw Sandra Oh in Sideways. Nice wine, fun place to be during grape stomp, stay local so you can really enjoy the party, you won't be able to drive. Excellent Rose' great on a hot day. Also have a tasting room in Santa Barbara across from the train.

20 out of 10, always a good experience. If you visit, do your tasting with Adrian. She is amazing, knowledgeable, and fun!!

We happened upon this winery while taking a quick ride into town. I don't think it would have been a "destination stop" for us, but the bartender was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable, other patrons were interesting and fun, and the wine was fine. Place could use an update. Maybe they don't want to change because of the familiarity to the... More

This was in the movie Sideways and the popularity took off. Now have two tasting bars, but the wine is crap. The other problem is, a lot of limos full of drunk young people arrive all throughout the day. They are more about partying.

I've been to a lot of wineries and we came here because of the movie. I have to say I was not impressed. It was ok but there is way better places in the area!

This winery was less attractive and fancy than Bridlewood, which is built in the mission style with lovely grounds, but I liked the wine better at Kalmyra. We had the white flight and liked almost all of them, particularly the Sauvignon Blanc. The Chardonnay they gave us as a bonus was also very good. At the end, the woman who... More

Nice tasting room. Very friendly staff. My wife and I both liked the 2014 Merlot for $28 a lot. It was the best Merlot we tasted on our trip to Paso Robles and the Santa Ynez Valley. My wife liked the 2014 Sauvignon Blanc for $21 as it was a little sweeter than the usual sauvignon blanc. Tasting fee was... More
