We have been to Brander many times, and it never disappoints. This time, we were greeted by Carlos who did a stellar job guiding us through the tasting. We particularly liked the Sauvignon Blanc, Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and their red blend F/Red.

Fred Brander is renowned for the qualities of his fine white, pink and red wines. In fact, he is the only winemaker to produce several styles of Sauvignon Blanc, all of which stand among my favorites in the region. Just don't miss out on his distinctive Cabernet Franc, Bordeaux style Cabernet blends, and dry Roses.

A very charming place with a very friendly cat, and the wine was very good. My favorites the Sauvignon Blanc and the Merlot

I am writing this review strictly on the quality of the wines we tasted, and they were all very well made. They produce an amazing variety of Bordeaux and Rhone whites that are varied and outstanding and their red blend and two Cabernets are also excellent. Do not miss out on this tasting!

It was a treat to visit Brander Vineyards and taste its Bordeaux style classics, including a Cabernet that was neither overly extracted nor herbaceous like other area wines. The menu of five different Sauvignon Blancs was an added treat. Hard to say which of the many wines that I liked the best, but it was a close tie between the reserve Cabernet and the Bouchet (Meritages). Certainly worth a visit

If you like wineries that are not found at Safeway you will love this one. Wonderful wines we spent our budget here but well worth it. The people are very receptive and knowledgeable. Tastings are $10 and $15 but if you but 3 bottles the fee is waved for 1. You will not regret the stop.

The Bouchet blend and the Cabernet Reserve are great, but Brander is still the best place in the world for Sauvignon Blanc. Who needs New Zealand?

If you are looking for a great place to taste wines, Brander is a MUST! Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and the wines are just amazing. From the Chardonnay to the beautiful and bold Cabs, this place has amazing wines! The vineyard is beautiful and a great place to relax and have a picnic with a lot of outdoor seating. Already looking forward to our next trip.

Brander Winery is known for its Sauvignon Blanc, with Fred Brander sometimes being called the King of Sauvignon Blanc of California. We went to sample this, plus his reserve Cab and were not disappointed.
The tasting room was nicely appointed with a very friendly staff and generous pours. Our tasting was interrupted by 2 bachelorette parties, plus two other couples with dogs that did not seem to like each other. However, the staff was not phased and did a wonderful job of making sure that everyone was happy.
