We’ve been members at Roblar & Buttonwood for a while. There was an extremely rude interaction with one of their staff that continued to escalate. The owners daughter, Callie Gleason, then wrote an extremely offensive email. When I responded, she lied and said “since you used profanity, your membership is hereby cancelled Al all Gleason wineries. “ Luckily, my wife witnessed the interaction. There was never any profanity used. I’m not that guy. I believe both Callie and the staff person racially profiled me. There are absolutely no words to say! Most of the staff is very rude and their attitude is inappropriate. They had a happy hour in Westlake Village and ran out of food in the first 1/2 hour. The restaurant indicated that Callie was told that the food would run out. Cheap!! They hurried and made plain cheese pizzas. It was a terrible experience!!

Came here with a bachelorette party and wow were we impressed. The place is beautiful, the wines were delicious and the staff was so helpful and kind. By far the highlight of our day on a tour of 3 different locations. Our group of 7 had a mix of tastes and Nancy offered alt options and made sure everyone was taken care of. She even brought out sparkling wine 1st so we could cheers the bride. We only ordered the olives, but they were delicious. Everything coming out of the kitchen though looked delicious. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Roblar has always produced consistently solid wines and their facilities are fantastic. Service he’s been inconsistent over the last decade or so, but this visit was fantastic. The staff took great care of us and the charcuterie and cheese board was awesome.

We are not wine connoisseurs but we were on a California adventure road trip and were passing through the Paso Robles area, and had been recommended to visit this winery.
It didn’t disappoint.
We dropped in, sat by the fire on a cool, wet day - yes it occasionally rains in California and enjoyed a great selection of whites and reds.
Our host, went away from script and allowed us to taste a few different ‘favourites’.
We were sold.
Definitely recommended.

Richard greeted us and poured a lovely flight of wines. The tasting room is beautiful with a gorgeous fireplace. Very warm and welcoming. We loved the Estate Merlot and the Stone Oven Red blend which is their GSM - Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre. A definite stop on your wine tasting tour.

As the title suggests my family and I did not even eat or drink here but the hospitality from the staff alone warranted a 5 star review. Emily at the host stand was amazing and courteous. Our would-be server (Daisy, I think) was kind and patient and when we couldn’t end up dining they were extremely understanding and apologetic and I very much appreciate the hospitality. I can’t wait to come back to actually eat here.

This winery has great grounds, facility, food, atmosphere, and the Petitte Syrah is magnificent. It tastes like a baby Opus One with the blueberry pie flavors and some under notes of cherry and mild cinnamon.
The black pepper caesar salad was also fantastic as well. We lived stopping at Roblar for lunch.
If you goto the area, then you must stop in for lunch.

Our sommelier was the most entertaining individual!! I thought we should have to pay for his entertaining show alone! We found their Merlot exquisite! You won't want to leave without a bottle - very unique!!!

Went wine tasting over the weekend. Of all the wineries we visited, this was by far the BEST. It was the most inviting in terms of where we stood...the circular bar is a great idea! The staff was friendly. We had the pleasure of Halle pouring for us and it was terrific. We were all engaged and interested in her descriptions, explanations, and stories. It made for a memorable and informative experience!!

On September 21, 2014 I visited the Sant Ynez wine country for my birthday. I love this area and have visited many times. I have also visited Roblar a number of times and have had great experiences there. The wines are very good and having the food pairings with your tastings is always an enjoyable experience. This vist however was probably the worst experience I have ever had from a customer service perspective, in any type of winery, restaurant, hotel or any other establishment centered around serving a cutomer. From the moment I walked in Billy, the tasing room manager had a seriously bad attitude with me. I asked for a tasting and decided on the premiere tasing. I informed Billy that I was not much of a Chardonnay drinker and he rudely procalimed that I had never tried their Chardonnay and poured me the Chardonnay anyway. I handed him back the Chardonnay and repeated that I was not a Chardonnay drinker and asked if I could try the Sauvignon Blanc instead, at this point Billy rudely proclaimed that I had told him that I liked Cardonnays and left with the glass of Chardonnay. A few seconds later a very nice young lady showed up and started helping me. She poured me the Sauvignon Blanc and began telling me about the rest of their wines. About ten minutes later she convinced me to try the Chardonnay. Re-enter Billy. When I told her I would try the Chardonnay Billy from all the way across the room yells at me
"You've got to be kidding I just poured a whole glass of Chardonnay down the sink because of you"
I thought I must be hearing things, this man did not really just yell at me in front of a tasting room full of people? A few minutes later I asked Billy if I could talk to him outside. I told him that I felt he was being rude to me, to which he responded,
"Well I have never had a customer before who couldn't make up their mind like you".
At that point I was highly insulted and and informed Billy that I considered him rude and that I was going to cash out and leave.
When I went in to cash out the young lady offered to comp my tasting since I worked at a winery part time, I refused the comp and told her I did not want anything free from that experience and would rather pay. Before I left I informed Billy that it was my birthday that day and that I would be contacting someone to share my experience. His Response? "That's Fine"

What are your most popular wines, and what is the average price per bottle. Hiw much is the tasting visitm?

First they are not "my" wines and my favorites vary from year to year like wines do. Right now I favor their Sauvingnon Blanc for a white and their Potting Shed Red for a red. I like the blends because they are drinkable quicker and I have little storage capacity. I am not sure about tasting price because I am a member of their wine club but I think it is around $10.
