We live in Santa Rosa and we love Spring Lake park. We come here at least twice a week to walk around the lake. It's beautiful and relaxing. There's lots of wildlife to be seen: ducks, geese, swans, coveys of quail, nesting owls and water turtles sunning themselves on floating logs, . Once we saw an otter. This is a... More

This is a nice place for a walk( about three miles)when in the area. Great place for families. There is a campground and multipal picnic areas. If camping you are close to many amenities.

I have very fond memories of Spring Lake camping every year with my family, grandparents, aunts, and cousins. Swimming and camping every summer.

An amazing setting, bucolic and family ready. Note that this County lake.park is contiguous with the City Lake Raphene and the State Annadel Parks. The small fry can stay at the city lake park, the adults at the County park and the true outdoorsmen and women have the State Park. There is a fresh water swimming lagoon at Spring Lake,... More

This is a really great park to get your exercise in. Has a nice long path with a few short-cuts/off-shoots so you can accommodate the length you want. I would not say this is a "need to see" attraction if you aren't from the area, but a really nice option to have. Has some shade, some sun.

So fortunate to live near this County Park. I purchase a pass every year even tho I can easily walk in without one.
