About
We invite you to come visit our newly reopened Russian River Valley Estate Tasting Room. We are nestled on a 155-acre estate in the heart of Sonoma County wine county, Paradise Ridge offers spectacular natural vistas overlooking our vineyards and the Russian River Valley. Expansive decks and terraces open to panoramic landscapes. Visitors sample handcrafted wines seated on the veranda or in our new tasting lounge. This magical wine country property was discovered in 1977 by Walter Byck & Marijke Byck-Hoenselaars. The winery was founded in 1991 and continues to be family owned & operated. Wander through the outdoor sculpture exhibit in Marijke's Grove, experience the Fountain Grove Winery historical exhibit and taste artisan wines. For those planning a wedding or special event, Paradise offers a romantic & magical setting. Whatever you desire, Paradise Ridge Winery is a wine country experience not to be missed.

On the plus side, the views and sculpture are impressive…sadly everything else is lacking. The wines were just ok but the “snack menu” is limited in variety. We ordered a charcuterie platter and the cheese was stale and bland, the crackers, mini bread sticks were sparse. To top it off there were no prices on their menu and when we got the bill- it cost $ 35.00. Go to another vineyard. That night we went to John Ash and ordered a charcuterie board , it was plentiful and Delicious…and it was $28.00 , fed 6 people, and worth every cent.

The view is beautiful, but the customer service is not great. We have been to several wineries and this is the worst experience. We had to wait for a table, even though we had a reservation, and then we sat waiting at our table for our tasting. I’d avoid this winery if you are looking for a fun experience. We left frustrated and annoyed.

There is no disputing Paradise Ridge Winery is a beautiful place. Looking out into the vistas made us feel like we were in southern France. By the time we arrived in Santa Rosa our family of 4 (2 older children) had been traveling by car for 18 days. Eating out every day in restaurants was taking a toll on us so when the opportunity to have a picnic lunch at Paradise Ridge presented itself we took advantage of it.
After picking up lunch at the local Safeway we headed up to Paradise for the wine tasting. We received a coupon for the tasting from our hotel and was able to experience over 8 different wines. The wines were pleasant and we purchased a number of bottles for the remainder of our trip.
As for our picnic lunch, Paradise has tables through out the winery for such an occasion. We sat at a table over looking the orchards. It was a hot day in mid August but the breezes were cool and views were Stunning!. Best of all, the winery was not busy that day and we felt we had the place all to ourselves. The staff was friendly, the pics we collected were amazing and the overall experience was one of the highlights of our trip.
I am always of the belief the best and most memorable travel experiences are usually unplanned and inexpensive, as in this case. Cheers!

In happier times. Wonderful family visit to the Paradise Ridge Winery. The winery and sculptures on the vineyard grounds were not to be missed. Having a tasting of the Paradise Ridge wines on the Visitor Center deck was most relaxing and enjoyable.
I understand that the Winery and Visitor Center were casualties of the October, 2017 fires. I also understand that much of the vineyard area is OK. I am sure that, in time, they will rebuild, bigger and better than ever.
Best wishes to all Paradise Ridge employees and their families.

My now fiancé took me here last Saturday for a wine and cheese pairing. Facility was beautiful. Employees were beyond friendly. Cheese and wine -= Amazing. After our tasting my soon to be fiancé ordered a snack and bottle of wine to go. Headed down to the love sign, happened to be a memorial so we wandered and found the perfect secluded bench. Had wine and snacks, perfect day. Then he got down on one knee. My life is changed for the better. The winery knew and helped plan everything while keeping it a surprise. Great staff. Great food/wine. Great atmosphere. Recommend to anyone. In fact we will Likeky get married there at the beautiful location to remember how great our first outing was. Thank u paradise ridge :)

We visited this winery with local friends for a quick tasting and to pick up some wine they had ordered. The winery setting in the Sonoma Valley is wonderful and the set up for tastings and tours impressive. The day was perfect, sun with a little breeze, ideal for sitting out on the terrace and sipping a lovely glass of Paradise Ridge chardonnay.

Paradise Ridge is one of the most beautiful wineries I have seen. It IDs located on top of the hill and overlooks Santa Rosa. They have lots wonderful events and is a spectacular venue for a wedding or any party.

This was the second winery as part of my work conference - and was another winner. They have an authentic wood fire pizza oven outside that was serving fresh pizza that tasted amazing, and they had some games on the side to keep us occupied. The buffet dinner was average at best, but the servers were quite friendly.

I contacted several wineries in this area for a wedding venue (we live near Seattle and have never been to wine country). Paradise winery was the ONLY one to respond with a phone call from a wedding coordinator - Denise. Not only was she AMAZING, but when we got there the day before our wedding to pick a ceremony site the place was STUNNING. Sweeping views, vineyards, a giant tree with outdoor space underneath it and a metal 'love' sign in the distance that was perfect for pictures. We had done a wine tour the day prior and visited several other locations. I was beyond thrilled we had picked Paradise Ridge. The staff was wonderful and the wine was, well, wonderful as well.

Stopped here for lunch on our way back from Healdsburg to Pleasanton. Enjoyed tasting their wines, but the highlight was an excellent wood fired pizza from the onsite Rosso Pizzeria. Great view of the Russian River Valley from their deck. Not sure if the pizza is available all the time so you might call ahead to check.

Hello, Depending on the number of guests in your party you may need a reservation. I would suggest calling the winery at 707 528-9463 and speak with someone in the tasting room.
