We found this only because it was close to our motel. What a jewel in the middle of Santa Rosa--it's not very big, but it is lovely and you'll learn about Luther Burbank!

During a tour to explore the vineyards we found the Luther Burbank Gardens. Very nice layout and reasonable well maintained. Flowers for almost all seasons and August was nice indeed. The shop is by far to price otherwise we will purchase a lovely T-shirt.

Very nice free attraction with cell phone audio tours. Close to public transit, Greenway walking and bike trail along the creek through town. Also walking distance to nice shops and restaurants in Railroad Square and Courthouse area

I would agree with Kevin G - certainly worth a visit even taking account of perhaps a few steps.
