Save the $...all the magic preformed are older than dirt...the magician is very rude n inappropriate...I went to a show last night and he made some rude race comments...and kicked a mother with her crying baby out...in addition to that you could still here the baby crying and he exited the stage to tell her we can still here them...I... I went to Magicopolis with my family (children age 7 & 9) in April 2015, with a Groupon, and we all had a wonderful evening. Magicopolis is located in Santa Monica on 4th Street and Santa Monica Boulevard, just one street East of the 3rd Street Promenade. We attend the 8pm showing. When you first go in you'll find a... Went to the matinee show and it was boring. Skits were bush league and the Magic was stale. Old tricks that were anything but amazing.

A fun (if sometimes a little cheesy) magic show that everyone can enjoy. Some of the tricks were fantastic and the close up magic by the barman before and after the show was just incredible - worth a visit for that alone.

I took my 2 young kids to the show and we all had a great time! They were thrilled and amazed by all of the tricks! The magician and his Polish assistant were both very charming and very entertaining! It's a great show!

Magicopolis was a fun place to go on a date night. I think it's a small operation. I saw 5 employees total all night. The building is old but I think the show was fun. It is catered to small children but I still had fun watching the tricks up close. If you can, try to get a seat up... More

Magicopolis is a worthwhile magic performance. The owner is the main magician and he's a hoot. It is family friendly and there is comedy involved, too. They have a bar where you can get a beverage (alcoholic or non) before the show or during intermission. Reservations are a must. I got tickets on Living Social and it was a great... More

This show is only there the 2nd Sat. of the month. It was AWFUL! There was only 3 or 4 decent girls. The hosts were bad. They need some class. The two ladies that could sing were quite large. The girls need to get in shape! The cheesy costumes were wrinkled and looked like the cheap costumes you buy at... More

My 5 year old son dreams of being a great magician one day, so as his #1 fan I found magicopolis on TripAdvisor & surprised him. Its mature enough to reach out and connect with the adults in the audience but also manages to have that childhood innocence that captures the hearts of all the kids watching. audience is perfect... What a find! a fantastic live magic show, with everything from comedy to sawing a lady in half, card tricks and escapology, and all while you sit about 8-10 feet away from the stage. Even the bar tender does tricks while you enjoy a pre show drink. Best 2-3 hours of entertainment in Santa Monica. Thanks Steve, from the three... More

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
