This was my first experience with a spa package. It began with a sauna, followed by body scrub and wrap, scalp massage, then body massage and facial. The staff are wonderful. Not knowing what to expect I was concerned about modesty but this spa was...More
I️ needed a massage while on a business trip. It was so easy to make a reservation online and even for the same evening. Super clean, quaint and fun. The massage was amazing and much more reasonable than the hotel spas.
My boyfriend and I booked an impromptu couples massage without having read any reviews of Alchemie. We were pleasantly surprised that the offered organic products and were unpretentious while still being luxurious. We can't wait to book a full spa retreat next time!
I was in Santa Monica for a business trip and was thrilled to find an organic spa that offerred nails. I have very sensitive skin and have to avoid conventional nail salons so I considered this quite the treat. I booked the "Alchemie Mani/Pedi" at...More
Techs are very friendly and skilled, spa seemed very clean. Good location for visiting Santa Monica Pier. Should have asked for harder pressure (which is my own fault) and sounded like someone outside my room was washing dishes midway through my massage. Otherwise enjoyable.

Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller
coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
