I got what I thought was a simple massage package (60 min each) for myself and my boyfriend as a treat after coming back from a 2-week road trip and the space is *literally* an oasis. The front house is casual and comfortable, but they bring you around back to a partially covered patio with all sorts of greenery and... More

I had driven by the Willow Day Spa several times. It's on a very busy boulevard, tucked away between commercial buildings. On a whim I called, spoke to a very funny, kind guy named Chris, and lo and behold I walked in the door 2 hours later. If you've been to Santa Monica you will recognize the funky older beach... I bought a Travel Zoo Special for the Willow Enzyme Bath for a friend & I. I honestly had no clue what it was all about - just saw spa & $55 and thought - sounds like a great pamper deal to try:) The spa is located in an adorable little house - totally tucked away and it had a... More

Willow Spa is literally down the street from me and I never knew it until last year. It's tucked away and when you walk in you forget where you are completely. They start off with a wonderful foot soak before your treatment and you totally chill. I've had both massage and facials at Willow and the therapist and aestheticians were... More

I've seen several of my niece's plays here. It's a funky, fun place.

This spa is located on a very busy street in an industrial area of Santa Monica, however the spa itself is a cute secluded bungalow - very nice surprise. Very nice outdoor areas are in the back - luckily it is very quiet in the back (despite the busy street). My friend I purchased a discounted treatment from Travelzoo and... More

When my sister came to visit, I wanted to spoil her so I booked us both Japanese Enzyme Baths. It was amazing! The spa itself is in a cute little bungalow, very zen, and the staff is kind, informative and excellent. Apparently this is one of the few places where you can get the Enzyme Bath (not an actual "bath"... More

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
