We did a lot of tastings along Foxen Canyon during our several days in the area. Without doubt, Rancho Sisquoc was among our favorites. The wines were superb, the setting was a dream, the pourers were cordial and informative. Loved everything about it. Sure it's pretty far out there but from the moment you leave the main road and drive... More

This was one of the first Santa Maria Valley wineries we visited. It is tucked back off the road to the point where you may question if you are on the right path. However, once you arrive, you will be impressed by the grounds and the wine store. Be sure to bring a blanket and some cheese and crackers so... More

We opted for Rancho Sisquoc for 2 reasons : one they sit on historic grounds deep in the valley with a rich history and a tasting room in a 100 Year old Barn AND because I called ahead and confirmed they were dog friendly and we were road tripping with our pooch. What a perfect choice. The grounds are beautiful... More

Visited this place out of season so can only imagine how gorgous the gardens would look in spring. Lovely setting and great value at only 8 dollars to taste 6 wines. You also get to keep the glass! Fyi, most wineries charge 15 dollars per wine tasting.

This is an old school CA winery that is still making wine in the same style they did 30 years ago. While not top tier it is well crafted, good solid drinkable wine at a more than fair price. The tasting room is among the prettiest in the Santa Barbara/Santa Maria area. The fee of $10 includes the glass and... More

Beautiful winery and our hostess Robin was awesome! It was my wife's birthday and she made it a fantastic wine tasting experience. Great wines, beautiful grounds, tasting room is very quaint, and Robin gave us a lot of history about the winery. Just an overall great experience.

This is our second time to this winery. This wasn't on our stop but when we realized we were only 4 miles away we had to go. The friends with us hadn't been. The place was packed. Live music outside and a taco caterer was set up upside. There was a line for tacos. They smelled good. The tasting room... More

Rancho Sisquoc is old skool yet one of the nicer wineries in the central coast. Having visited many of the Paso Robles and Santa Barbara Wineries I would say without a doubt Rancho Sisqouc ranks near the top on my list of wineries in the area. While a little off the beaten path, I suggest bringing cheese and crackers and... More
