This was a great way for the Seniors in our group to enjoy the beauty of California's beaches and scenic views. Lots of good places along roadway to pull over for photo opportunities. The drive was worth the time. It was awe inspiring. It was good that you can travel at your own pace and stop as often as you... More

Perfect drive along the Bay Area coast. Secret beaches, including a nude beach, exist hidden along the coast. Only available by local pathways. You'll find the whale blow hole if the water swell is high enough.

Walk, bike, skate. This stretch of road deserves time to indulge the senses and get active. Great way to enjoy all the diversity of the Santa Cruz population.

West Cliff Drive that runs from the Santa Cruz Wharf to Natural Bridges State Park is a spectacular drive with scenic views of the ocean, wharf and "Steamer Lane" that is a premier surfing spot on the west coast of California. At the point you can can find the Lighthouse Surfing Museum that is worth a visit should you like... More

Love the views from here. Great place to pull over and have a sandwich, or rent roller blades, and spend the day!

This paved trail along the cliff is perfect for watching surfers and enjoying the views. There's a nice lighthouse and surf museum.

We took an AirBNB near here and walked the coast every day from the park to the lighthouse or thereabouts. Good sightseeing, people watching, wildlife watching and surfer watching. ll in all safe and fun.

Parking isn't easy - but patience pays off. Great place to walk, people watch, and enjoy the beautiful views. We like to bring sandwiches and find a bench to sit and enjoy. The walking path is in good shape and the people are friendly.

I do not know what I liked best about this walk, the gorgeous views of Monterey Bay or the people with their puppies running along the surf. The gnarled cypress trees and the carpets of ice plant in bloom and the natural stone rocks with cormorants on top were also breathtaking. This walk was fantastic especially as the sun was... More

This is my favorite place to walk. Right on the ocean with spectacular views and amazing homes. On a sunny day, no place better. You can walk your dog( on leash) too. Must do!
