My daughter, Faith, just returned home from a week at Camp Ed... it was her first experience surfing, and she hasn't stopped smiling and talking about it since we picked her up! A little backstory: last year, she was in a serious accident and spent a month in the hospital, it has been a long road to recovery and took a toll on her confidence. But today, I'm seeing her spirit alive & thriving again. It brings tears to my eyes to witness the transformation.
Faith enjoyed every aspect of camp. She wholeheartedly expressed how awesome the instructors were... she was given enthusiastic support and picked up surfing quickly thanks to their attentiveness and instruction. She made fast friends with the other campers and enjoyed hanging out with everyone. At their campsite, they played games, ate amazing and healthy food provided by local restaurants, watched a surf movie on a projector one night, and told great stories around the campfire at night. She already misses it and wants to go back next year. She even exclaimed that she'd like to become an instructor for Ed in a few years.
This camp was worth every cent, and I'm so happy we decided to sign her up for this unforgettable experience. Thank you, Ed, and all the instructors, for illuminating my daughter's world and sparking new passion into her life. We will highly recommend your camp to everyone we know!

It started informative and stayed fabulous! Rafa let me know a better wave time ahead of the lesson. And during the lesson gave us information to get us thinking like surfers so when we were in the water we could share the water in a valuable way with other surfers and stay safe ourselves. Totally recommend!!

Rick was the best! So knowledgeable and kind. He made my 9 and 11-year-olds comfortable right away, easing their ocean nerves and setting them up for success for their very first time surfing. I love that he's not just a surf coach, but brings his waterman experience and teaches the kids about all of the variables. We'll definitely be back!

I am 52 years old and got on a surf board for the first time ever!! My 20 and 22 year old daughters were also doing it for the first time and were naturals, standing up and riding the waves in no time. Raphael was an excellent instructor. Very kind, helpful and fun. The experience was invigorating to say the least. I think we're all hooked. Thank you so much!!!!

This camp has been such a blessing for my daughter! She attended for her fourth summer in a row and came home so happy and excited for next summer! She has been going with the same friend each year and comes home every year with so many more friends and fun stories. Just tweens/teens outdoors and surfing and enjoying nature and human interaction. Disconnected from social media and electronics is a huge plus!

I and two friends did a group surf lesson in Santa Cruz with Club Ed. It was great. Henry was our instructor and he was excellent - a great teacher and also made it fun. Highly recommended. He had a specific area he took us too which was perfect (and I would have never found that on my own).

Had an amazing few hours learning to surf with Ed. He’s really the best in the area. He was very patient and taught us the right way to surf and behave in the water. We called last minute and he was able to accommodate us within 40min. We all got up on the board and had a few good runs. An amazing day and would do it all over again! 10/10 would recommend!

Our son has been to this camp twice -- last summer and this summer -- and he loved it. Amazing outdoor time, great instructors, easy going staff and just the best experience! Highly recommend. My son went with a friend so that helped but he also met great new people so bonus on both sides!

Surf Camp with Ed and his amazing team was a great and fun adventure for my boys! They came back happy with a lot of new skills and a smile on their faces! We will be back next year, Thank you!

I booked two classes for my spouse and two kids (semi-private and private) with Ed during the winter holiday season. Given it our first time, we benefited tremendously from Ed’s guidance and patience (i.e. explaining weather/surfing conditions, etc.). Impressed how responsive and attentive he and his team are. Both Ed and the two instructors Rafael and Andre ensured my family a wonderful first time surfing experience that they just can’t wait to return for more. Highly recommend Ed and the team!
