It's always a pleasure working with Breanna and Andy at Pacific Sail. They make you feel welcome, and help you through the complete process of doing a Bareboat Charter. The Yachts are clean and Sea worthy. Thank you for another great Adventure Pacific Sail Fair winds CaptUkuLarry

We chartered Zazen, the Beneteau 461 for a week tour of Monterey Bay. Starting from Santa Cruz we sailed to Moss Landing and stayed at the Elkhorn Yacht Club two nights, enjoying kayaking in Elkhorn Slough. We then sailed out and around Point Pinos to spend a glorious night moored in Stillwater Cove which faces Pebble Beach, then three nights at Breakwater Cove in Monterey. The boat was comfortable, reliable and able to handle the swells and waves in the bay. It also makes a great platform to stop and watch the abundant marine life, including many humpback whales and a blue whale.Breanna in the office is very professional, and Andy was available by phone and text any time we had questions about operating the boat.

On 8/23 I booked the weekend beginner sailing class online for 8/20 to 8/30. Cost with fees was $372. The day before the class I was sent a liability waiver form which I completed online.i then received instructions on where to meet the following morning for the class with a reminder to be on time. I showed up on Saturday about 10 minutes before the class was supposed to start only to find that the office was closed and no other class participants were there. When I booked it stated the class size was 3 or 4 students and my spot was the last. From the mail delivery notices it was obvious that nobody had been to the office for done time. It appears that staff was affected by the local fires. I am sorry for any losses that staff might have incurred. This does however not excuse the fact that I was not notified of the cancellation . I have emailed and left phone messages and the only contact to date has been the TripAdvisor note requesting a review. Pretty ironic . I am $380 out of pocket if you include the parking charge and no one has been I touch with me . If I could I would give them a minus 10 rating.

Good Morning Chris, My apologies for the delayed response! I apologize that your class was canceled last minute due to the local fires and that you did not receive a cancelation email from us. Once we reopened our office our staff members contacted everyone that had their classes canceled while our office was closed as far as I am aware. If you have still have not been contacted by a staff member, please let me know and we will either get you rescheduled for an upcoming class or we can refund you in full. Again, I sincerely apologize. Have a wonderful day, 831-423-7245 info@pacificsail.com
