My boyfriend and I visited Santa Cruz for a day, & of course had to make a trip to the boardwalk. We walked around there and the beach in front. It was a nice visit and there are good restaurants in the area.

Visited in winter so it was not very busy and maybe not as clean as it would be if it was summertime. There were still enough attractions to make it interesting but the highlight was walking out onto the pier to watch one of the...More

Always a good time. Feel like a kid again every time I am here. Rides, games, funnel cake, and my favorite.... Salt water taffy!

Today was the perfect day to visit the boardwalk. It had been raining but when we went it was beautiful blue skies and no crowds or kids running wild. It was clean and plenty of security. Love the music and the cheesy games and snacks!

Because it was February, most of the attractions are closed for the season but, it looks like a great place to bring the whole family. Nice selection of restaurants, stores and rides.

Great place to go in the summer, in the evening or on a weekend. Lots of old school rides and then there is the big beach. Expect crowds.

Free to take part, though rides cast a bit! Fun place to visit just about any time of the year. I visit from time to time.

Yes! You can definitely bring ice chests onto the beach or Boardwalk. The City of Santa Cruz has rules for the beach (no smoking, alcohol, dogs, fires, etc.) but ice chests are fine!

It didn't seem that long. It was less than an hour. And it was totally worth it.

I would say there going to be pretty long. Even though a lot of kids will be in school with the discounted prices that brings more people. There are so many other things to do, you'll have a great time.
