It has been over thirty years since I went there. You have the rides including the aging Big Dipper. You have the arcade games including video, and pinballs. Upstairs, you have pool tables and air hockey tables. Plus, the classic ones where you try to break plates with a ball or squirt water into the clown's mouth. Due to recent... More

We loved the old time feeling of the place. We had a beer, sat and watched the people and ocean. Not much for rides but looks like fun for the younger crowds. they have a walking tour that talks about the history of the pier take it. they are doing some construction but was still easy to walk around and... This place is great for all ages. You can enjoy the rides, like my favorite, the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, but there is so much more to do. Beautiful beach! Free Friday night concerts during the summer.

If you're looking for a slice of Beach Americana this is the place to be. From the old Carousel to the all wooden Big Dipper roller coaster every attraction will remind you of a simpler time. During the summer on Fridays they have free live music from some of the bands we listened to as kids. I've been going to... More

We went to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk on a sunny February Day. This time of year they are open on the week-ends. There are nice views of the Pacific Ocean and fun rides. My favorite is the roller coasters and merry-go-round.

The Lost Boys is my favourite movie of all time and I've wanted to visit the boardwalk for 30 years. Was not disappointed - amazing place and it was easy to spot some of the boardwalk locations featured in the movie. Lost boys nostalgia aside, we loved it here and had a great time, looked safe and fun for kids... More

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is my favorite vacation spot in California. Concerts on the beach, arcade games, shopping, rides, roller coasters, and much much more fun & excitement.
