An old fashion amusement park with lots of stands with games, food stands, drinks and everything that you see in carnivals. Great way to spend a day but I wouldn't drive hours just to go there. I would drive 90 min max. Everything is very expensive in terms of food. A burger and fries are $10 and drinks are about... More

We enjoyed the boardwalk for about 3 hours and giggled the whole time. We played all the carnival games, shopped at all the stores, ate some greasy Boardwalk food, took some great family pictures and have the best memories of our time there! Get there early to avoid traffic and parking delays and don't overthink it. Just enjoy!

The boardwalk is such an amazing place for all ages. You can make memories that will last a lifetime. I live in Watsonville and visit with frequency.. My daughter is a season pass holder so we take her for the rides and we enjoy the food and view.. The parking is the only downside you can say, not enough parking... More

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is the Northern California equivalent of the Santa Monica Pier. Everything is right there, the beach, a wharf with restaurants, an indoor center with mini golf, laser tag, and arcade games, roller coasters, and other carnival-esque rides. A pass is around $30/person for the day, which isn't that bad. The lines in the summer get... More

This is our first time in Santa Cruz. The Boardwalk is a fun place to spend the day. The Amusement Park us fun, although spendy. It is summer, so very crowded . The walk down the pier has fun stores . The beach was a good spot for the teenagers to rent surf boards and wet suits. A body board... More

This is like an upgraded local fair with some big rides. A lot of good food including the only other place to get a Dole Whip outside of Disneyland.

This was our first time there and had no idea parking would be impossible! We got as close as three blocks and then came to a complete stop... we had to finally get out of the area because traffic was so heavy... That alone took us about 30 minutes. We ended up at the wharf and parked there to just... More
