BEAUTIFUL

BEAUTIFUL! Trees everywhere, great amount of transportation passing, and friendly vibes from the drivers. Cold in the morning but hot in the afternoon. This campus is beautiful.

This campus is just so lovely surrounded by grand old trees and wonderful walkways. It is worth a visit.

The campus uses the natural surroundings to create a University in the trees. It's certainly worth a drive around to see. What isn't clear is how students get from place to place. There are certainly paths, but the roads have no bike paths.

Initial reaction when entering the campus is that you have found yourself in a forested resort. Buildings and roadways have been superbly located amid the large number of majestic Redwoods, and walking and biking trails run everywhere throughout the vast campus grounds. Views of Monterey Bay are utterly fantastic from the dorms overlooking the sports grounds and I can only... More

Beautiful wooded campus with lush views. Warning: parking is pretty limited and too few for students, let me tell you. Security seems to live to ticket illegally parked cars - please heed all postings. I pity the students who have to leg it across this massive campus in 10 minutes or less. One path is nicknamed, "Cardiac Hill" for good... More

I have been on hundreds of campus, but I have never seen anything like this -- it looks like a forested resort and other parts of the campus have ocean views. You can drive there or take a bus or bike.

Bring your car or be prepared to walk, a lot. It's a great place to visit and take pictures in even if you are not attending the school. Beautiful campus.

Not only is this campus beautiful, but it provides a wonderful education for it's students. It is the best of both worlds. At the bottom of the hill you have the ocean with a great shore break right in town. And then you start up the hill and along with the beautiful views, you arrive at the Campus nestled in... More

I recently returned to campus and was delighted to find that it was visitor friendly. Most lots, for example, have pay stations so you can park more easily. This is a beautiful campus in it's own right, and well worth an afternoon to "hike" through it and it's majestic red woods. You never know what you will see from live... More

This is an inspiring campus. It's what brought us to the Central Coast! Two degrees later (by my partner) and we're still here living along the Cental Coast, but now we're living at the South end of th Monterey Bay. Go Slugs!
