Our nephew graduated from Santa Cruz in June 2018. We were able to walk around the campus and enjoy all the beautiful Redwood trees. The buildings are nestled in the landscape without being an eye sore. The college was built with keeping the natural surroundings...More

I graduated from here many years ago and still live in Santa Cruz. As a guest or a student here, you are fortunate for every hour or every day that you get to spend in this wonderful place. A jewel on this earth.

If you are touring colleges with a perspective student, you will enjoy UCSC! Set in the redwoods up on the hills, the views looking down to the town are absolutely spectacular. There is A LOT of walking on the tour and parking is tricky so...More

I have been to many of these performances as my daughter is in this ensemble. Beautiful music in a great environment. Well worth the time and very affordable.

We stopped to help out a friend - there is a long and verdant entrance pathway where we encountered some interested and anxious parents checking out the suitability of this place for their offspring. The campus lies on 2,000 plus acres of rolling, forested (mostly...More

You cannot get there in your car. Take a bus if possible There is virtually no parking for visitors. Do not ask for directions to your venue. Not even the students know.

Thought we would see the campus and drove up to plateau above town, clear cut grass fields, then curves, slight hill and you drop down into a forest with buildings and trails and students. Absolutely an amazing campus.
