On my recent road trip through California my littles and I enjoyed a stop at GA. They loved the rides and especially the Water Park. I would say we got our money out of the visit! -order your tickets online and save $16+ (I did this in the parking lot and just scanned my phone) -Bring a towel, sunscreen and... More

This place is pretty nice... they had some really good rides (we like roller coasters) and it wasn't too crowded - even on a Friday in July. It's certainly not cheap, but they offer a military discount which helps. The Flight Deck was the first ride which is a coaster that has the track above you so you feel like... More

Thursday we got there early. We purchased the season passes for 4, unlimited meal plan for 4, and 4 season long cups for 4. We took advice and didn't buy the fast lane until we saw the traffic Thursday, glad we didn't because it wasn't busy at all. We got there at opening and we hit all the thrill coasters... More

Not only entrance fee is not at all worth value, staff is rude and lazy. Food prices are triple than normal and they treated my handicapped grand dad with no respect. Do go there.

My daughter and I were there with a group of 10 or so other teen and pre-teen girls and their parents. Although it was Saturday, the lines were not long and the girls got on their favorite rides over and over! We got tickets with a group discount, but even without it, the prices seem a lot more reasonable than... More

We visited California's Great America on the 5th July. The park was surprisingly quiet so there were no queues for rides!! We had four kids in our group, aged from 9-15 years of age. Everyone had the best time. Booking a cabana is a great idea! You can leave your belongings there (safe provided) while exploring and enjoying the park.... More

I took my teenage son to Great America last week, on Wednesday the 13th of July. I hadn't been to this park for about 15 years, and he for five or six. I had gone many times as a kid, from back in the 1970s Turn Of The Century days. (It's been the Demon since the early '80s.) The last... More

My first two visits to California's Great America were mostly great. Lines for the rides can be long. The front gate with park security was slow. However, the quality of the rides are stellar, especially Gold Striker, Flight Deck, Demon, and Psycho Mouse! Gold Striker is now in my top ten woodens, and I have been on over 100 wooden... More

Took the kids on the 4th of July. There aren't a lot of rides but the water park is a lot of fun. We got a cabana and it was so worth it. My kids loved the lazy river and the wave pool and we spent the day there before we moved onto the rest of the park for the... More
