It's a solid theme park. Lots of rides and bland overpriced fast food. You kids would probably like it. Infested with teens.

We needed a place to hang out until picking my husband up from the airport. I thought why not an amusement park, it was 10 min away from the airport. First thing is the park didn't open until 5:00pm which would not have been an issue if it had been posted everywhere so victors to the area would know. We... More

This is the third year now I have purchased season tickets for my grandson and I. He is 8 and each year there is something we can add to our list of experiences. There are rides for the very young (and very timid) up to thrilling rides. we especially love the special events. Last week we attended Winter Fest. This... More

We went the weekend before Halloween, so it was rather busy. I Have learned from other places in Florida, spend a little more and get the upgraded pass which allows front of the line access, since we purchased ahead of time, we got a great deal on our tickets. For what I consider a smaller park I think they did... More

First time to this park. As a roller coaster fan, I have visited Magic Mountain, Cedar Point, Knott's Berry Farm, Disney, Universal and both Busch Gardens. Gold Striker is one of the best wooden coasters I have experienced. It is so fast and it maintains a high speed the whole ride. Flight deck was also very good. Rip Roaring Rapids... More

Place was clean, staff was friendly, while I didn't eat-wasn't hungry, they did have soda fountains... was a nice touch. Coke products to include lemonade.

Great fun with teenagers. This was my second year of attending. Here are some tips: Arrive early an hour early and be there when they drop the entrance rope at 7pm. Head straight for the back of the park without distraction. If you start with the high school maze, you can then do the toy maze and Cornstalkers all before... More

For the last five years, we have purchased season tickets to Great America and have enjoyed the park, waterpark and now The Haunt. Our favorite are the mazes, haunted houses and the ghouls that walk/stalk the park. Our favorite attractions are the Cornhuskers, the Psycho Mouse coaster, and Dia de Los Muertos. We will be back every year!

Still a lot of fun and some great thrill rides! Boomerang Bay is really fun! Like most theme parks, food and beverages are very expensive, but you can get a discount if you have a season pass. Food court also has a good selection of foods for all tastes. And, the sports bar has beer and wine (shhhhh!). There is... More

Husband and I decided to try out the Halloween HAUNT at great America. We paid $15 a person to do the buffet before. Absolute horrible and dry and there were supposed to be "monsters" roaming around as part of the fun. There wasn't a single one. It was cafeteria style. Not worth it! The HAUNT itself was fun. We paid... More
