Nice park but parking for events is too expensive for a public park

Overall a very nice park with plenty of things to do. But charging $10 for event parking for a park in gouging in my opinion. I was going to the BBQ event on Saturday June 25, but... read more

Overall a very nice park with plenty of things to do. But charging $10 for event parking for a park in gouging in my opinion. I was going to the BBQ event on Saturday June 25, but I am not going to pay $10 just for the privilege of buying food. Selections below only relate to the BBQ Event I... More

We went to the STEM Event at the library for Super Bowl 50. STEM stands for Science, Technology and Mathematics. We enjoyed listening to the various speakers. There was also technology interactive exhibits and also innovation stations. It was held at the Santa Clara Library. It is part of the park property. We also enjoyed going to the park. It... More

Not exactly "Santa Clara's Answer to New York" but perfect for the locals. It is quite large has a pond, fountains and long trails for walking. In fact it is large enough to host July 4th fireworks. The city of Santa Clara should be complimented for creating and maintaining it.

I have visited the children's play area with grandchildren repeatedly. They particularly like the unique play structure that they can climb and crawl under and over. There are two areas with play structures, one of which is a bit more slanted to older children. The younger one has a unique sand feature as well. It is a nice place for... More

Had the opportunity to take my friend's dog for a walk at Central Park. I had never been there so I was surprised at all the amenities. There is a large swimming complex, a new library, a baseball field, basketball courts, an outdoor amphitheater, an indoor theater, a veteran's war memorial, a pond with ducks and geese, and plenty of... The city or other groups frequently have something happening within the park. Coming up next month will the annual Wine Festival.

A very nice park, surrounded with amenities. A good choice if you have no where to go to and just want to enjoy a peaceful weekend.

A good park with good playstructures. My two yr old enjoyed his time in the park. He had enough and more place to run around and loved the play structures.
