As the drought is in affect, the city had decided to drain the fountain and it needed a good scrubbing anyway, still a beatifu statue and nice place to walk on you lunch break if you work near by.

It's there, and I pass it every day. You cannot review something like this. You either like or you don't like it.

Yep, there's a statue. Takes longer to park and walk over, that what the visit is worth. Do a drive by and wave. Save your time and effort, unless you are religious.

The statue is impressive standing over 100 feet tall with lots of visitors, worth a visit - even for a little bit of peaceful reflection..

We have seen Statue of Saint Clare multiple times as we are frequently in the area. The status is at the 3 acre civic center area of Santa Clara. The statue of Saint Claire reminds one of the city's history and connection to the Catholic Church and California Missions. The statue was completed in 1965 and weighs 3 tons and... More

This was a great statue to see. The statue is impressive and there is a plaque telling you about it's delivery to Santa Clara. It is unfortunately right on the main road of El Camino Real so it is not a peaceful place to sit and reflect or anything but it was neat to see for a few minutes.

The best part is clearly the birds all over the place. The daring children will run around the edge of the fountain. It's a very long way around. It feels like an accomplishment for a 4 year old to run around it. Next to the fountain is another long fountain with lots of bushy desert palms. The kids love them.... More
