This is my daily walk with grandchildren and dogs. A complete circuit of the park is one mile (no need for a pedometer!). You will often see whales and dophins and meet lots of friendly folks and animals. This is my heart's home in Santa Barbara.

A pretty place to walk, though not as scenic as Arroyo Burro, it is more easily accessible. In a surprising bit of enterprise the homeless stretch out sheets and build coin toss amusements. Bikes that seat 4 can be rented and look like a lot of fun.

Great ocean views. Wonderful place to walk the dogs and see the sunset. We took pictures and relaxed for a while.

Beautiful spot to walk along a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Long flight of steps leads down to the beach. There is a playground for kids and plenty of parking. Look for migrating whales and seals and dolphins. Barbeque pits and picnic benches available.

We walked a mile and a half early one morning and it was wonderful. Clean and bright, with only one homeless person curled up sleeping.

Gorgeous views of the ocean, the islands, and the mountains. Paved walking / bike path or steps down to the beach. Open areas for picnics or play, bbq pits, and playgrounds, too. Benches to sit, picnic tables to picnic. A real gem. I'm here at least 3x a week. Walk down to the harbor or just enjoy the views. Not... More
