If you've always wanted to learn how to surf—or you're an amateur looking to bolster your skills—there's no better place to hit the waves than Santa Barbara, one of the top surf towns in California. With this group surf lesson, expect to hit the waves and improve your skills, regardless of experience level. Beginners can cover the basics, like paddling and catching a wave, while more confident surfers can review advanced skills, like cutbacks and floaters.

I stood on the board for the first time! I had taken a surf lesson two years ago and wasn't able to stand but because Thomas explained everything so well I got it super fast. He made sure to watch each time and give me feedback on what I did right and what I did wrong so I could correct for next time. Highly recommend taking a lesson from him!…

We signed up my husband and two daughters (11 and 13) for three private surf lessons over spring break and couldn’t be happier with our experience. Thomas was our instructor for all three days. He was super kind and patient with our daughters who were very nervous about trying surfing for the first time. He immediately put them at ease and helped them through some frustrating moments with a great sense of humor, contagious positivity and endless patience. Thomas had my entire family up and surfing on their first lesson and provided great technical advice throughout the week that built their confidence, consistency and skills. We are super thankful for Thomas and the great service we received throughout our lessons. Highly recommend to anyone looking to learn to surf in the Santa Barbara area. …

My daughter surfs with Thomas and Zach and absolutely loves it! The instructors are phenomenal and they are so, so good with kids. My 8 year old is gaining life lessons through surfing and I couldn't be more grateful. I tell everyone I know about iSurf School!

I signed up online for a private lesson 10/27/20 for myself and three daughters. We are all 1st timers & had a blast learning how to surf. Zach was very fun and professional. We cannot wait to go again!

I booked this for my cousins based on a recommendation for a friend, and they loved it. They thoroughly enjoyed the class and now I am recommending it to all my friends and family.
