This was our first opportunity to go see a performance (Billy Crystal) at the Arlington—we will certainly look for other opportunities to return. It's a wonderful venue, a bit of a throwback to another era. The front courtyard is deep and large, letting you know that you're not walking into just another theatre. The lobby is small and can be... More

Saw Switchfoot and Relient K concert. What a great venue, small so close to stage and performers. Old which was very historic. Cool old theater seats. Inside looks like you are in a courtyard. Large clean restrooms. Very friendly staff. Lots of cool places to eat real close. Only drawback is when concert let out, transients everywhere

For something as simple as seeing a screen movie, this place is stunning. Its a trip back in time and you can look around at the decor as much as watching the screen. Although the seats are dated and slightly uncomfortable, I would think it would damage the image to change them. No cup holders and small aisles. This was... More

Like the title says it saw a movie here. It is an interesting theater. In the lobby there is beautiful tile work. In the main section of the theater it feels like you are out doors with the high ceilings and facades of buildings. The only problem is there were some echoes during the film.

We saw "Trombone Shorty" and his bnd and everyone was up and dancing in the aisles. There "wristbands' and "house security" to keep you in your seat. A great vibe, with a bar... and you can aways step outside and slide right back in. No attitude here.

We visited here and saw 'Sully' the film. The theatre just has one screen and so a limited number of showings a day. Ticket prices were pretty good (can only compare to UK cinema prices though!), we paid $9 each. When we went, it was quite quiet. We got there 45 minutes early and bought our tickets, then went for... More

This was my second visit to Arlington theater. The first time it was in cooler weather so I was comfortable in there. This time it was warm and humid and they don't have ac so it was not comfortable at all. I was glad when the concert was over and I had planned months ago to attend it. I will... More

We came to the Arlington Theater to see a movie and were very impressed. Wonderful 1931 Mission style building used for movies and concerts. Large theater with a very unusual and interesting interior. We took the shuttle which runs up State Street to get here from the wharf area. Only costs 50 cents and stops at every block. This is... We came here for a comedy show. It was a major pain to find parking nearby. We were able to get inside right away. Long wait for food unless you were just getting popcorn or something like that. But it was cool that they had so many options. The show already started and one of the old lady ushers was... More

The Arlington, Santa Barbara's largest theater, was built in 1931 in the Mission Revival style. It seats 2,000 people and the auditorium resembles a Spanish village complete with a night sky and twinkling stars. The theater also features a Robert Morton pipe organ. It's a beautiful building inside and out, and the management will usually allow you to peak in... More
