About
Our award-winning Tasting Room, located in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara, just steps from State Street, is the ideal location to enjoy our estate-grown Bordeaux varietals. Voted "Best Winery" by the readers of the Santa Barbara Independent for six years in a row, our Tasting Room offers ample seating options to sample our estate-grown wines. Our sun-soaked patios in the picturesque courtyards of the historic El Paseo are the perfect spot to spend an afternoon. We think you'll enjoy sipping our Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and other Bordeaux varietals in the fresh air while taking in the quintessential Santa Barbara views of the historic El Paseo courtyard.

Every time I visit Santa Barbara, I have to pay a visit to Grassini family vineyards tasting room. Their wines are really outstanding and all the staff members that I came across over the years were always feeling me very welcome. A new great addition is the possibility to order a glass of wine and enjoy this in a relaxed atmosphere. For me this is a must stop when in the neighborhood.

We did a tasting at the vineyard a few weeks ago. We had such a great time...the tour of the winery and grounds were amazing! But the wine, oh the wine! We bought at least a case and two of their beautiful glasses. I am going to join the wine club for two reasons - first the wine is delicious and second the events look fabulous. Can hardly wait to come back!

This tasting room is a hidden gem just off state street. If you stop in, you won't be disappointed. The staff (mostly Grassini family members) are all very passionate about their wine and proud, as they should be. It's a wonderful winery that anyone would be happy to visit and take a few bottles home.

The wines I tasted at the Grassini tasting room in Santa Barbara were outstanding
The "Happy Canyon Sauvignon Blanc" and the "Articondo Blend" were exiting, but the "Estate Cab." was WOW!!
When I was there, Katie Grassini was there to host the tastings and she did a great job. I can't wait to go back to Santa Barbara and the Grassini tasting room. Unfortunatly this will take some time for I live about 9000 km away in The Netherlands.

The Grassini Family wine is a true gem! The wine is fantastic and the people that work at their tasting room are very nice and energetic. After the wonderful experience I had, I sent my parents there and they absolutely loved it and came back with TONS of wine! I would definitely recommend putting this on your wine tasting list OR just for a nice glass when in SB!!!!

The Grassini Family Vineyards tasting room on Anacapa street is a must when in Santa Barbara. The staff are friendly and the pours are generous!!!!! The tasting room is intimate and inviting. The wood bar is breath taking and the leather chairs are comfy. The TV has a continuous feed of pictures from the vineyard so eventhough you are tasting in downtown Santa Barbara you feel like you could be at the vineyard. I went with a group of girlfriends and we ended up spending a long time enjoying multiple tastes of wine and chatting with the staff. The wine is excellent and well priced for the quality. I will definitely go back.

Located down a little arcade off State Street, this is the perfect late afternoon wine tasting! The wines were well introduced and tasted great. The tasting was well priced, service was super friendly and it was just a pleasant experience.

Stopped in and found a lovely breeze, a friendly and well informed lovely Laureen at the bar counter. Loved the Savignon Blanc and the blended Cabernet I think one person ordered.
A beautiful relaxing atmosphere and couches, and comfy chairs inside.
Their patio was all shaded and the breeze from the walkway cooled us off as we sat for an hour with our second glasses of wine.
For the one visitor with us who doesn't imbibe, she walked to the corner for a coffee drink from Starbucks and no one said anything when she walked through to get back to the patio.
All in all, with so many wine tasting bars this one was a find and we saw at least three other groups make their way to this place. It is hard to locate unless you know where to look for number 24 El Paseo. Sitting on the patio, we could see the El Paseo Nueveo building sign across the street. We actually called 805-897-3366 to help us find them as we missed finding them the first time walking through.

Host was extremely helpful and we really enjoyed the atmosphere of the tasting room. Open area inside with comfortable chairs to relax and they even had a couple board games to make you feel at home. There is also outdoor seating to give you the opportunity to soak in the California weather. The tasting room itself is in a great location in downtown SB yet not too close that the busy street takes away from the ambiance of the tasting. Another wine bar that I highly recommend checking out. We ended up purchasing a few bottles which waived the tasting fee. Cant wait to open them for a special occasion!

Hello! Our wine tasting flights start at $15 for a taste of four wines. We also offer a red wine tasting flight for $25. Should you decide to purchase any three bottles of wine, we will waive one tasting fee, and and two tastings will be waived with the purchase of five bottles or more. If you’re interested in joining our wine club, our wine club members do enjoy complimentary wine tastings. We hope you enjoy your visit! Cheers!
