The Santa Barbara Waterfront is a gem within the City of Santa Barbara. From boating excursions to standup paddle boarding, day fishing to excellent museums, fabulous restaurants to sweets, you can find everything you need to spend the day at the our waterfront. Beautiful wayerfront

Beautiful waterfront to walk along and a pier to stop at for dinner or shopping. There was an arts and crafts market going on along the pier while we were there.

I really enjoy coming to the beaches in Santa Barbara. Having lived near the ocean, various beaches, around the world the SB beaches stand out as being pretty neutral. The sand is coarse but good the water is not too cold or warm (I would say that SB is probably the last spot of Southern Cal type beach on the... More

There is a nice paved walkway to use while strolling along the waterfront. There was a lot of construction but the detour areas had temporary paving and other than a little noise it wasn’t an issue. There is plenty of on street parking a few blocks over or there are several paid public lots.

A great place to watch boats as well as people. The bike/running path and sidewalk provide for a beautiful and healthy way to spend a day. Stunning scenery! And if you get tired, hop on the shuttle bus.

The electric shuttle which makes a loop through town until 6PM is the easy way to get to the wharf which you have to visit at least once when you are in Santa Barbara. Walk all the way to the and don't miss the sand sculptures along the way.

Was walking along the beach after some time on State Street and found it a really nice beach, but didn't swim at all. Stearns Wharf was where we spent most of our free time and it was very nice. If you want to chill and tan you can do that or enjoy some water activities. Very nice beachfront in Santa... More

Stopped in Santa Barbara for a couple hours break, parked near by and walked it's waterfront. It's a pretty big area and long path stretching on both sides of the wharf. Beautiful wheather, many people out there walking and jogging, nice place to spend an hour or two beneath the palms.

Spent a couple of days there wandering around with the grandkids. Saw close up dolphins, seals, pelicans, and lots of other shorebirds. Kids played in the waves. Lots of sand and waves. Loved it..

We walked along the pathway on the beach. There were lots of people walking, skateboarding and cycling. We visited Stearn's Wharf while there walked along the marina.

Granted, the weather was cold, misty and windy but I would have overlooked that if there was ANYTHING special about this waterfront! The stores were predominantly marine-focused ->fishing supplies, fish markets, etc. No interesting shops. A tired old, but proud, little marine museum. Was expecting to see some nice boats, given the upscale Santa Barbara venue, but perhaps they were... More
