I eat high end chocolate often, this place is now my favorite. Everything we tried was amazing, glad we found it. I prefer dark chocolate and everyone I tried was outstanding. We also bought several unique bars to bring home we haven't seen anywhere else. Great with coffee or a glass of red wine!

When we pulled into a parking lot in Santa Barbara, we were delighted to see the Chocolate Maya store, as my daughter and I both follow her on Instagram. We went in and purchased many chocolates for gifts, and they are adorably wrapped, and so yummy. She has unique chocolate from around the world, plus she has her own line... More

We stopped in here to sample the chocolates and then we bought for boxes to bring home as gifts. The young lady working there was a delight. She wrapped the boxes of two chocolates up so beautifully. This business is just off State Street enroute to Stearn Wharf. The chocolates were oh so delicious.

A tiny little shop with fantastic chocolates - all kinds of tasty combinations (chipotle, pear, pomegranate, hazelnut...) and lovely truffles. We especially enjoyed the bags of chocolate disks - pure deliciousness! The presentation is impressive and the staff were so engaging and obviously dedicated to their craft.

What a great little chocolate shop tucked in a side alley. The chocolates are beautifully made and displayed. The flavors offered are unique with special decorations. The staff is very well informed about the chocolates. The chocolates are a bit pricy, but consider the quality and the fact that everyone is unique.

We came to Santa Barbara for a family vacation from Pittsburgh Pa. I saw Chocolate Maya advertised in one of the Santa Barbara magazines and put it on my list of places to stop in. I found it on a little out of the way street. The atmosphere is quaint, cozy and bohemian feel. We tried a chocolate sampler. Unbelievable!... More

On a weekend girls trip, my 7 friends and I stopped in Chocolate Maya. We had read about the store online and were delighted when our lunch server recommended it as well. The store is darling, with a small lounge area as well. The walls are decorated with beautiful photos of South American Natives. We watched Maya herself work on... More

The spicy hot chocolate has such a great kick to it and it is invigorating to drink. Chocolate and habanero chillies go together beautifully. Who knew?

Maya is a Master Chocolate maker and her offerings are magnificent. We did a tasting with her--you try several different origins and several different creations, and she explains them, where they are from, how the beans are harvested, and helps you discover the subtle notes and nuances of the chocolate. Highly recommended.
