The view of Ledbetter beach, the ocean, the islands, Shoreline park and the unique homes along this iconic bike path is without peer. It's a pretty long hill heading up towards the Mesa but a great and popular workout.

When we are in the area, we get up early every morning and run/walk along the bike path. It is a wonderful way to begin our daily adventures.

This is a wonderful experience to enjoy with children of all ages. Rent a "group" type family bike and take grandparents along. Not for city streets, but this bike path is safe and fun.

Hop on a bike and enjoy the view of the beach, ocean and sailboats. Make sure you stop at the Shoreline Cafe for drinks at the end of the day.

This is a wonderful investment. Thank you Santa Barbara. My guess is that it approximately three miles long.

When I was recovering from surgery this was a nice flat smooth long stretch of a path. On a sunny day it is nice to walk and see the variety of activities on the beach and ocean. Busy on the weekends so don't expect to fly along. A great variety of folks on foot and wheels of every sort. Yesterday... More

A great way to see the beach in Santa Barbara. It starts at the bird sanctuary & goes to Shoreline park. Great on Sunday to see the art displays.

We very much enjoyed our bike ride along this path. The ride is fairly easy and the ocean views are excellent.

The Bike Path along Carrillo and the Coastal shoreline was very well used NYE weekend, despite the crummy weather. The lane was quite wide, very well marked and provided plenty of room for cars to navigate around the cyclists w/o disrupting the flow of traffic. OFF the coastal path was another story. VERY little shoulder, sometimes stone walls, lots of... More

Bike paths on Santa Barbara coastline are beautiful and the Cabrillo path is the best. If traffic concerns you this might bother you, but I have ridden it many times with no problems.
