Head north and your legs will be tested with a nice hill, eyes rewarded with a lovely view. Head south in the A.M. and a scenic sunrise illuminates some nice sculpture, a quaint pond, the outskirts of the zoo and the finish line of a small nature refuge directly across from Stella Mare restaurant - hopping with bunny rabbits, teeming... We rented mountain bikes and rode about an 18 mile loop. Pretty along ocean, but not whole route is scenic. Cars were careful and overall was a good ride.

This is a great bike path for all ages. There are a lot of bike rental companies so you don't need to bring your bike to enjoy it - you can easily rent one. The 4-6 seater bikes are awesome. The path is long, smooth and flat - and the ocean view can't be beat!!

I hadn't been to Santa Barbara for years and didn't remember it being bike friendly. Cabrillo is just one of many paths and if you have a proper map (which we didn't...haha) you can just keep riding along. As always even though you're on a bike path, you do have to watch for vehicles.

One of my favorite bike paths in SB. I always seem to start by the harbor and just amble along, stopping at the pier, and along the beach for some quiet relaxation. Very easy and user friendly.

The Cabrillo bike path goes along the waterfront, which is a very pleasant drive. It is well-marked and has places to lock your bike along the way, e.g., bottom of Anacapa St. and Stearns Wharf. There are connecting bike paths to extend your ride easily.

Rented cruisers and had a great time! We stayed on the level path and wish it was longer. We were going to take the bikes on Stearns wharf but heard it was crowded so passed on that.

Beautiful flat and wide paved path. Great for bicycles, skaters, walkers, runners, dog walkers, etc. Also for the rented family bicycle carts. It is beautifully tree lined with classic California palms. You have the ocean view on one side and park on the other. It's only 1 to 1.5 miles from the Hyatt and Doubletree to the wharf. It also... This is a great path to enjoy the beautiful views of Santa Barbara. Skaters, bikes and walkers all share the path. The city does a good job of keeping it clear and clean.

Perfect for tourist scenic rides, great views and picture ops! Gives you overall highlights of the beach and town layout. Leads to the wharf, and on Sundays, the artshow along the sidewalk past the pier.
