Rick was amazing on our wine tour, he was both professional and friendly and made us feel like locals through out all the wineries. He knew the right ones to take us and the lunch was just right to get us through the day, (more than your typical cheese and crackers). He made us feel comfortable as he sanitized the whole van, kept a safe distance from us and always wore his mask. He was very knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. He was even able to get us discounts on some of the wine we bought. Hands down one of my best experiences wine tasting, I felt relaxed like we were touring through the country side of Italy. I will be recommending him to any one who visits the area. Can’t wait for our next visit!

My girlfriends and I were beyond thrilled with the private wine tasting tour that Rick arranged for us. We are still talking about it!!!
Having done wine tastings at many beautiful vineyards, I have to say the access that Rick was able to provide to extraordinary properties with exceptional wines and unique experiences was better than any wine tour I have done to date. And the opportunity to have the owner of Bella Cavalli Farms do the wine tasting for us in person ,on the grounds of his beautiful estate, was icing on the cake! We even got to pet some of their gorgeous horses!
From start to finish I would HIGHLY recommend this tour!

Could NOT recommend Wine Canyon Tours more. We just went on our second tour and were lucky enough to have Rick for both. My husband and I chose to do a private tour and Rick was so fun to spend an afternoon with. We left the itinerary in his hands, both times, and he chose perfectly! Every vineyard was amazing and it's apparent that he has a great relationship with each one, which I think speaks volumes. The lunch he provided was delicious and he even set up a nice picnic for us to enjoy. I can't wait to go back and spend another day with him. Please help to support this small business, you won't regret it!

We went out for a private wine tour with Rick this past weekend and had an awesome time. The whole process was seamless and personal. I booked through his website and the rest fell into place. We went to three different wineries and each had a special feature and feel. Rick was our guide and was so fun and knowledgeable. I would and will most certainly book with him for my next tour.

Hawaiian Rick took my friends and i on the most amazing wine tour ever. He was friendly, prepared, knowledgeable. He even went the extra mile to call the place we were thinking of going for dinner after to ensure we could still make reservations. I highly highly highly recommend this tour company and Hawaiian Rick. We had the most incredible day.

Rick was very knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful tour and we also got to see 2 towns and walk around. The wineries were wonderful and we had a great lunch outside at a vineyard. I'd definitely use this tour company when I return. Very impressed

We were visiting Santa Barbara from NYC for a friends wedding and wanted to experience the local wine region. After reaching out to a lot of different providers, I booked a private tour for 4 with Rick Reeves (owner of Wine Canyon Tours).
Rick took the time to learn about our group (4 young professionals, wine enthusiasts) and what we were looking to get out of the tour (local knowledge with a focus on visiting wineries off the beaten path).
Rick picked us up in his shiny new van and drove us out to wine country. He has a great playlist and is very knowledgeable about the area. When we pulled up to the first winery, I knew we made the right choice in going with Rick at Wine Canyon Tours. We drove up to a picnic table under a beautiful tree on a hilltop over looking the vines where our vineyard host was setting up our first tasting.
The wine was fantastic and the experience/ambiance could not be beat. This theme proceeded throughout the day. We went to amazing, private spots and received the best treatment. Lunch was delicious and Rick provided snacks and water as well.
I highly recommend going with Rick at Wine Canyons. He's incredibly enthusiastic about his business and will provide a fantastic day for even the pickiest of customers!

My husband and I booked the regular wine tour for a Sunday. Rick advised that if there are no other people that sign up, instead of cancelling we can upgrade to a private tour for x amount. And it was soooo worth it! Dave picked us up at our hotel on time (actually he was even a few mins early). Dave is very knowledgeable about wines, the wineries, the area, microclimates, terroir, cooking with wine, etc. First, he took us to the Olive Oil farm where we tasted (and bought) several types of OO. Then, we visited 4 wineries - 2 was of our choosing, and the other 2 were his suggestions. We went to Roblar, Koehler, Lincourt and Beckmen. We liked them all, and bought several bottles of wine from each winery. My favorite is probably Roblar - because of the tasting room ambiance, and i loved their wines over the others. (That's just my opinion and my own taste, i'm not a wine connoisseur at all). Dave setup our picnic lunch when we were at Lincourt, and the paninis were great! We had an absolute wonderful day! Thanks Dave, you the man! (and Rick)!!

Decided at the last minute to book the afternoon tour with my husband and another couple. Hawaiian Rick picked us up - there was no one else on our tour. We took a beautiful drive and went to two wineries. The second wasn’t even open to the public but Rick hooked us up. He was full of great info and made our day so special and relaxing! Thank you!

We knew from the moment we got to talking with Rick (or as we knew him Hawaiian Rick) that he was going to totally take care of us and give us a great winery experience. He made sure to find out exactly what type of experience we were looking for and showed us some unreal wineries that really felt authentic, unique and personalized. I can't give a high enough rating to the experience - recommend this for anyone looking to truly get a special experience beyond the standard "group" wine tours out there.
