I met up with my instructor at the beach (Santa Claus Beach) and he showed me how to navigate the board and pop up and a few other things (on the beach). Then we jumped in the water and he basically hand-fed me waves for the next 80 minutes. It loads of fun. The instructors were really helpful and gave... More

Our family of 5 did a downhill mountain bike tour with Paul (John was our driver). The trail was probably (definitely) a little more advanced than our experience but we had an amazing time. The drive up to the trail head had amazing views so we knew we were in for a great day on the way down. I think... More

We spent the morning touring the marina and Santa Barbara coastline, which was a relaxing way to see the sights, with plenty of marine life to see and facts from John our guide to keep things interesting. A bit cooler on the morning than we had expected but the paddling kept us warm and overall a great experience for the... More

Three things make this experience great: 1) The location. The Santa Ynez mountains are stunning, with breathtaking views and a starting point for the downhill ride at well over 3,000 feet 2) The equipment. Top quality, well maintained bikes, perfect for the conditions. 3) The guides. Elias and Paul were knowledgable, friendly and encouraging. They were a pleasure to be... More

My wife and I did the 3 hour Santa Barbara Road Bike Tour. We got to ride a couple of nice, electronic shifting road bikes. They had a good selection and were able to fit our taller and shorter than average heights (6'3" and 5'2"). The tour guide was very personable and gave us a behind the scenes tour that... More

I had a great day out mountain biking with John from Cal Coast. We did the Romero trip, which had a long climb with awesome views. If you like super technical downhill riding, there's not very much of it on this tour, but it was still great fun. John is a really good guy and we had heaps of fun... More

Good experience overall. Very safe, very easy, you get close to some wildlife. I guess people with more experience will also go a bit further South, away from the pier. My guide, Sean, was very friendly. Reliable booking system, very flexible on scheduling, and easy payment. Only :( : no the lowest rate you can get in SB

I was staying in Santa Barbara for a couple of days and wanted a bike to climb Gibraltar Road. Nathan was very prompt in dealing with me and setting the bike up for me. I had a problem with the bike when I got back to my hotel and he was there in under 20 minutes to resolve the issue.... More

Great road bike rentals from Cal Coast. I will be renting from them again this October. The quality of the bikes, the ease of renting, the friendliness of the staff makes this an A+.

We had an excellent surf lesson for total beginners. Even my father who is nearly 70 had a great time - and they let us each go at our own pace. The instructors were really upbeat and encouraging - and wanted to make sure we hd a great time.
