I have enjoyed Jaffurs for years, but this was my first time to visit their facility. If you are looking for a fancy winery with all of the lovely gardens, gift shop and cellar tours, then go elsewhere. Jaffurs does not offer that. They literally have their winery production and storage in a two story warehouse in the middle of... More

The location itself is a warehouse, in a mixed residential-commercial neighborhood. Why would anyone come here? Easy - world class wine. Go to Los Olivos and Santa Ynez for the beautiful atmosphere and and the fun of a wine-tasting trip, but Craig Jaffurs' wines are better than 99% of any wine you'll taste within 100 miles, especially Jaffurs Syrah. Wine-tasting... More

This small little wine shop is all about the wine and they really know how to make great tasting wine. Nothing fancy about the tasting room but with wine this good you soon forget that you're not in a glamorous room. We had a nice time learning about this fantastic wine. Very helpful staff and we really appreciated the wine... More

Jaffurs is my absolute favorite in the area. They specialize in exceptionally made rhone varietals and we enjoyed everything we tasted. Best of all, the winery staff are all very knowledgeable and happy to answer any question. We took a few bottles home and will continue visiting in the future.

We were walking Santa Barbara, stopping at a few tasting rooms. More than one recommended that we make our way to Jaffurs, which was off the beaten path, so a bit of a hike. We made it over there and it did not disappoint. Their wine was fantastic and the employees in the tasting room were super nice. Overall, we... More

With limited time, we chose Jaffurs for its excellent wine ratings and its convenience (right in Santa Barbara). We were so happy we did...it's small, produces very good wine and the tasting room is right at their production facilities. Nothing fancy about the tasting....but On the afternoon we were there, the person pouring was a sommelier and wonderfully knowledgeable about... More

My wife and I are wine enthusiasts, so couldn't pass up the chance to visit some tasting rooms while in Santa Barbara. After stopping at two places in the Funk Zone in downtown, we sought out the Jaffurs facility on our way home, and we're glad we did. In an industrial neighborhood, and with only a small sign to mark... More

I never liked syrah until I tasted Jaffurs syrah. Although the tasting room is in the wine production facility and they seem to have unreliable hours they are worth the stop. I highly recommend both the wine and the tasting room. The workers are friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. It is very hard to walk away without becoming a member. Their... More

This winery is for the more serious wine person than those looking for a wine scene. Their warehouse and tasting facilities are modest and understated. They are removed from the main "Funk Zone" wineries, so if you are looking to wine-crawl, this one probably is not a good fit. The personnel were very knowledgeable and friendly. We liked their wines,... More

My husband and I had a bottle of Jaffurs at dinner when the sommelier recommended it. We decided to go to the wine cellar for a tasting the next day. So glad we did!! What a great place! We loved all of the wines in the tasting and ended up becoming members! I totally recommend stopping here on the urban... More
