Whether a fan of President Reagan or not (we are) you should visit this center to view the exhibits on display. There are items that he used at the Reagan Ranch, lots of pictures & audios. One could spend several hours here. The Center director, ELLEN, is a wealth of knowledge and very helpful. This is a must visit location.

Great place to learn about the Reagan Ranch. It isn't political and gives some different interesting information that I did not know about President Reagan.

This small museum on State Street across from the train station has some wonderful interactive exhibits outlining the important of Rancho del Cielo to President Reagan. Open 11-4 on M-Thu with volunteer docents who help explain the exhibits. Free to the public and worth a 1-2 hour visit to learn more about Reagan and his ranch in the Santa Ynez... More

We were told about this little museum by a docent at the Reagan library and made a special stop to visit. America's Youth Foundation purchased the ranch to preserve it, and although the ranch itself is not open to the public at this time, they have created a fabulous museum that provides a snapshot of the ranch including many personal... We were walking downtown when we were lucky enough to find this place. They were celebrating Ronald Reagan's birthday, so we enjoyed some free food, including jelly beans, and spent an hour or so enjoying the displays and information about Ronald Reagan, his life, and his legacy.

There is a lot to learn here if you have time for the docent tour, and for listening to the audio portion set up in the displays. You don't have to be a Republican to enjoy learning about Reagan and his presidency, even though the organization that runs this is. It makes you realize how important it is for presidents... More

Professionally organized and presented museum regarding items of interest from Mr. Reagan's beloved Rancho del Cielo. The docents were particularly knowledgeable about the ranch and the Reagans themselves, with interesting stories and anecdotal nuggets. ...An enjoyable experience.

I was in Santa Barbara this week and made a visit to the Reagan Ranch Center - Great Reagan History! President Reagan was such an unusual president, this museum shows a great slice of his private life, his love of the ranch he purchased in 1974 and how the outdoors influenced his life! excellent!

Glad we made it in. It's a small little museum, but you get a great look of Ronald and his life on the ranch. I have two teenagers, one enjoyed it the other one got a little bored. It is a free museum, but we were more than happy to make a donation
