The theater was refurbished over 10 years ago, and they did a beautiful job. The acoustics are wonderful. Was there for a symphony, and you could hear every detail of the instruments being played. Great welcoming staff, and completely pleasurable experience.

Most people will tell you that they remodeled this place and it is clean sight lines and is easy on the eyes. The sound system is good, not great, so if you have a trained ear you might want to make sure you get a seat in a sweet spot. For most people the sound will be fine. When they remodeled they cleaned the place up, put in new seats and the place looks great. What they forgot is that people tend to not like standing in non moving lines for extended times to get something to drink or eat one of the cookies that you wouldn't eat anyplace else. The last time I was here there were two people serving drinks and they ran out of something before the show began and one of them took off for 5 minutes to replenish what probably should have been there in the first place. My guess is they would prefer you didn't eat or drink and so they don't make it easy. Which is probably helpful as they didn't do much to expand the bathroom options. If you happen to be a woman, you will be better served going upstairs.

Don't know how many times I've attended performances at the Granada, but every time I do, I'm impressed with how well designed this theater is. I've yet to find a seat that didn't offer an excellent view of the stage, the aisles are wide and navigable, and the acoustics are impeccable!. We recently went there to see a travelling production of The Producers, a full-scale Broadway type presentation, and the Granada brought it off perfectly. Whether it be an opera, symphony, or dance feature, you can count on the Granada for a great evening. They even have valet parking!

My husband & I attend the New Year's Eve Pops. The theatre has been renovated & its beautiful. You can't go wrong with any seat in this theatre. The show this year was truly wonderful, with a Maestro who has been with the Granada for the last 10 years & a guest Opera singer, who also sang songs from the Broadway theatre. The show was almost 2 hours & the Maestro involved the audience in the musical numbers at the end of the show. TV, Film & other songs, including "Back to the Future" & Star Wars were included. A great night for us to start 2016. I highly recommend attending their symphonies & other venues at the Granada. Bravo!

We have seen several operas performed on the Granada's stage. The theater is majestic and harkens back to the heyday of the film industry and the "movie palaces" that period spawned. There truly isn't a bad seat in the house, the acoustics are superb, and you leave with a feeling of having been in a very special place. If you care at all about "grand" theaters you owe it to yourself to attend a performace at the Granada Theater.

We've attended the past three or four New Year's Eve Pops concerts that are a tradition, with great fun, good music, and good cheer to be had in a wonderful setting. The theater has undergone a lengthy renovation, but the result is a stunning interior that's a joy to experience. These concerts are an especially good way for the "ordinary folk" to experience a live, full orchestra in a great setting.
The theater offers a season of notable performances with some of the biggest names in music, ballet, and dance.
If you have a chance to attend a performance in this notable theater, take it.

This is a cool old theater near the center of the town. Parking was pretty easy and the building was very cool.

The renovation of this theatre some years ago placed it among one of the finest venues in Southern California for acoustical sound excellence. Additionally, it is an intimate and comfortable setting which makes for a consummate experience.
There is an in the same block parking structure and numerous restaurants nearby which just adds to the allure and appeal.
The billings include top class orchestras, symphonies and musical performances by accomplished musicians offering a wide range of styles including rock and roll.
