Relevant and informative information. While concise, the waterfront tour was "action packed". Easy to walk. Lasted about 1:30. John was extremely organized with off the head factoids supported by great photography. Just a note, we drove to Santa Barbara so we took advantage of John's confirming email listing great parking sites. We left our car at the Amtrak station since that was the last stop. We walked 20 minutes to the Maritime Museum, the meeting place. John was precisely on time. We will take his new tour of Old Town when it becomes available in August.

Had a fantastic tour with John this morning. I live 1/2 a mile from the starting point and learned so much about the history in my own backyard. So many great stories about how Santa Barbara came to be from a charismatic and knowledgeable guide. Great tour for locals and visitors alike. Five stars all around.

I recently joined the Funk Zone walking tour with a friend and had an amazing 90 mins. Jessica our tour guide was witty and knowledgeable and not overbearing. Lovely to be with. Also gave helpful tips on where to eat in the area. I would not hesitate to take another tour with John and his staff.
